Would a somebody be so kind as to burn me a DVD of the funeral procession to the U.S. Capitol ; the State Ceremony ; and the private service at the Reagan Library ? I would of course pay for the DVD(s) and postage to Japan . I'd also post you a token of my appreciation ( something Japanese ) . I'd be eternally grateful !

I would like to have a thread where people can ask questions about the upcoming event and someone could answer them. I have seen so many reports concerning the upcoming funeral of our great President Ronald Reagan. Time and time again, I hear bits and pieces of requirements that must be followed for a presidential funeral. I am wondering where this information is coming from. I have more questions then the reports are answering. For instance, I heard that President Reagan must be buried before sunset. Is this a requirement or just a personal preference?

I am working on a shool paper about European anti-Semitism. I need to know the British, French, and German equivalents of the New York Times. I also need to know about the U.N. report about the Jenin "massacre." Thanks.

I am in need of a good source for transcripts of speeches and statements made by John Kerry (preferably on his national defense policies). A more general source of transcripts would also be appreciated. Thank you.

Last effort to hunt down Nazis seeks help from local witnesses By Toby Axelrod BERLIN, May 25 (JTA) — When the hot line in Vienna rings, Christine Schindler steels herself. It could be a tip leading to an old Nazi who has escaped justice. More likely, it’s another crank caller making anti-Semitic comments. “Why don’t you leave our grandparents alone? The Jews are guilty of everything,” Schindler has heard. “There is one Nazi murderer: Ariel Sharon,” is another line, or, “Austrians have paid enough for the Jews.” “Although I expected such calls, I did not know how stressful it would...

I suspect I have some sort of hijack software that has change the way my searches on Google come up. Until very recently google searcehs were quick and I would get responses as normal. Now it seems to freeze for a few seconds and the first page of responses are links to other ad or search services. Example for a google search for 'test' I get this on the 1st page: 100% Free Certifications and Elearning Certy.com offers Free certifications/tests in HTML, Java, ASP, C#, Project Management, English, XML, EJB Diabetics! Health Break Through! At last..there's hope for Diabetes sufferers....

BUSH IGNORES SICK 9/11 FIREFIGHTERS & COPS Over the last month, President Bush has repeatedly recounted how he was inspired by "the courage of the firefighters and the police" [1] in the aftermath of the September 11 terrorist attacks. He recounted how, when standing atop a pile of rubble at Ground Zero, he was told by a firefighter, "Don't let me down" [2]. But more than two years later, he continues to ignore the needs of firefighters and police officers who are now suffering adverse health effects from their rescue efforts at Ground Zero. The situation has reached a head:...

I’m sixteen years old and I am trying to start my own conservative website. Lately I’ve been outraged over the liberalism that is constantly blared out on the media and the Internet that is anti American and anti Bush so a friend of mine who is also conservative suggested that we try starting our own website. I don’t have a credit card or a checking account so I decided to try somewhere I could get a free website and free domain ETC. I’ve never done this before so I have been going around the Internet asking for advice. I’m wondering...

Here's the issue...I have an old computer (A Gateway Select 700-MhZ) with Windows 98 on it that I want to give to my father. He's NEVER used a computer before but now that he's retired and my Mom's gone, he's gotten bored and wants to check out this "Internet" he's heard so much about. My question is, how do I "clean" the computer out? I've already backed up and moved off of it everything I wanted to save, so now I want to "wipe it" clean of anything personal, and basically return it to "pristine". I'm already planning on reloading...

I recall reading about the original plans for the 9/11 tragedy included 5 targets on the west coast and the Sears Tower in Chicago. I also recall hearing or reading that terrorists' weapons were found under seats of aircraft that were downed on 9/11. I think I read it here at freerepublic, but I failed to bookmark it or add a keyword that could lead me to it.

I've tried everything I know and searched the internet including microsoft, but I aint, getting anyhere. Computer froze. When I restarted, it began trying to detect my ethernet card, then my printer. Then I got an invalid page fault. Now, when I boot, I get only to the Win 98 screen, then when starting to load. "Explorer.exe has caused invalid page fault." Have tried the emergency Boot disk, and tried to follow instruction, but I'm getting nowhere. I have run scandisk from DOS - no problems. Mrs. Bat and I are looking to the future; being in our upper fifties, we want to join the exodus from California in a few years after the parents are gone (Pop is 90 and Mom is 83). I suppose we'll fall into the retired category, so employment isn't a factor. Kingman, Arizona on the surface looks interesting; have only driven through several years ago. Any hints as to the water situation, etc? Googleizing can only take you so far...at that point you call in the reinforcements; thanks in advance!

At 8:15 this morning the phone started ringing. A fax machine is now dialing my number every 2 minutes. I tried returning the call but it's always busy. I have called the operator who said their company will try (3 times) to send a fax. I can't take the phone off the hook because I'm waiting for a delivery. A long weekend is ahead. Freepers always have the best ideas. Help!

60 gigabytes. Never had problems with it. Yesterday Windows XP froze a few times. Then the computer refused to boot up again. Boot sector wiped out? I can deal with that! I then installed this drive as a slave and it wasn't recognized... was invisible. With Partition Magic this hard drive shows up as 60 gig of (exact words) unallocated space. It had 3 partitions which are now all gone. I used the Western Digital Utilities and the hard drive checks out as being in good shape. No errors. I was using Norton Anti Virus. Using a firewall on a...

I need computer help.I am running Windows XP and have IE 6.0.2800 as my browser. This evening, when I wanted to perform a web search, I noticed that my search engine is now DRSN Search, which I assume is some kind of spyware that somehow got loaded onto my PC. How the heck do I get it off my PC, and return to the other search engines I used to use? I cannot seem to find anywhere in IE that permits me to change back. Thanks for your help.
