Star Trek: The Next Generation actor Jon Paul Steuer died on Monday, aged 33. The child star, who soared to fame playing Alexander Rozhenko in the Eighties show, passed away on New Year's Day however the cause of death has not been confirmed, according to reports in Oregon newspaper Willamette Week. After his years of acting as a child star, Jon went on to forge a career as a musician and restaurateur as he bowed out of the spotlight - however tributes still poured in for the star from loyal Star Trek fans who remember the star from the show...

Comic actor Tom Poston, who won an Emmy on "The Steve Allen Show" and was Emmy nommed for "Newhart," "Mork and Mindy" and "Coach," died April 30 in Los Angeles after a brief illness. He was 85. Poston was best known for playing George Utley on "Newhart" and his guest appearances on "The Bob Newhart Show." His Emmy win came in 1959 for his role playing the befuddled Everyman as part of the Allen's stock company along with Don Knotts and Louie Nye.
