Long ago, I promised to post emails that I received as a teacher from leftwing activist groups. I've been lazy, and I've been meaning to get back into it! If you aren't aware, on the daily, I am inundated with leftist crap filling up my mail box. Many of these organizations seek to get their group to schools as "training". This training means that government money $$$$ gets to their group to fund that particular organization. Just received this letter in the mail today: "About one week from now, you will receive a 2010 Census form in the mail... Results from 2010 Census will be used to help each community get its fair share of government funds... The letter makes no mention of congressional reapportionment which is the real reason for the census under the Constitution.

As reported earlier today, ACORN filed suit against Congress in federal court to overturn the congressional act cutting off their funding. The timing of the law suit was very strange, unless Congress acts again the government spigot turns back on in the middle of December. Why didn't they wait a month before spending the legal fees? One reason is that the ACORN suit isn't only asking for the spigot to be turned back on, it asks for the government to give back the money that it would have received if they weren't cut off in the first place.
