<p>BROCKTON — John Gonsalves III knows the effects war can have on a family.</p> <p>His grandfather John Gonsalves, a U.S. Army infantryman, was killed in Normandy, France, in June 1944 during the week of the D-Day invasion.</p> <p>"My life was changed 22 years before I was born," Gonsalves, 38, of Wareham said.</p>
