One of the 229 people diagnosed with mpox in Ireland during the recent outbreak had 75 different sexual partners in the 21 days before they developed symptoms of the disease, a new study has revealed. The review of cases also found that 96.5 per cent of confirmed infections had been sexually transmitted.
