New research has confirmed that increasingly fewer Millennials and Gen Zers are having children, and there is a “scary” reason why. More than half of 18- to 34-year-olds are choosing not to have children due to financial challenges, according to newly released data from Australian research company the Red Bridge. Companies are struggling to operate as Gen Z enters the workforce at higher rates, and a growing majority of employers say the younger generation is toxic for their business. That's the latest from a new Freedom Economy Index report conducted by PublicSquare and RedBalloon this month. A recent study revealed that 42 percent of individuals belonging to Generation Z, born between 1990 and 2010, have been diagnosed with a mental health condition. The prevalent diagnoses include anxiety, depression, ADHD, and PTSD. Furthermore, twenty percent of them have sought therapy, and sixty percent are currently taking medication.

I have a very difficult time believing that this is actually true, mainly because it seems to contradict evolutionary theory. The percentage of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer adults in the U.S. continues to increase, reaching an all-time high of 7.6% in 2023, according to a new Gallup report. Broken down by gender, the survey of 12,000 people 18 and older across the country found that women were nearly twice as likely as men to identify as LGBTQ. “Almost 30% of Gen Z women identify as LGBTQ+, most as bisexual,” Jeffrey Jones, a senior editor at Gallup, told NBC News. “That’s where a lot of the growth seems to be happening.”

Donald Trump has a higher approval rating among young adults than any other age demographic, according to a poll. A Harvard CAPS–Harris survey of more than 2,000 registered voters showed that 57 percent approved of the job the Republican did as president, with 41 percent saying they disapproved. When the results are broken down further, they show that almost two-thirds (64 percent) of voters in Generation Z—or those aged 18 to 24—approved of Trump's job as president.
