Gen Zers aren’t having children because of this scary reason
New York Post ^ | June 5, 2024 | News.com.au

New research has confirmed that increasingly fewer Millennials and Gen Zers are having children, and there is a “scary” reason why.

More than half of 18- to 34-year-olds are choosing not to have children due to financial challenges, according to newly released data from Australian research company the Red Bridge.

Of the young people choosing not to have children, 35 percent are university-educated, and 33 percent are earning more than $2,000 a week.

Just under half don’t own a home.

Kos Samaras, director of Red Bridge, said the research is a sign of the times, and young people are financially strapped to a point where they can’t even consider bringing kids into the equation.

“The amount younger people have to pay out on mortgages or rent, they’ve also got HECS debt [student loans] and are often living beyond their means,” he told news.com.au.

Samaras said he believes that young Australians are likely planning to have children later in life, but by then, it’ll be more “difficult” for them.

“For previous generations, it took until their 30s to obtain financial security, and for Generation Z and Millennials, it’ll take well into their 40s,” he pointed out.

Ultimately, Samaras said, young people aren’t being dramatic by not starting families because, financially, it could cripple them.

“If you were a financial adviser of these young people, you’d be saying, ‘You can’t afford it,’” he said.

Influencer Laura Henshaw, 30, is one of those women who has put off having children. In fact, she’s not even sure if she wants them at all.

She recently launched a podcast aptly titled “Do I Want Kids?,” and she’s been discussing the issue endlessly, giving real insight into why so many young women aren’t sold on becoming moms.

At the same time, many people now describe themselves as pet parents — dog moms and cat dads. They refer to their pampered pets as fur babies.

Stuff like this makes me wonder if it isn’t all part of the plan. Give money to poor black families since 1965. Now handing out money to “immigrants”. All at the expense of working people.

It does, but not necessarily for everyone's personal economy, and they aren't sharing in that overall economy in a reasonable positive fashion.

Moat of the jobs that have been created are being taken by foreign born citizens & even illegals. All new jobs have been parttime jobs. Fulltime jobs have fallen since Biden took over, or shortly thereafter.

That is why the younger aged group are coming over to the Trump camp.

People did not believe me but I said they would over turn Roe Vs Wade BEFORE it happened. I was going around saying this too on here and out in public.

The reason why would shock you, or maybe it wouldn't

Social Security. It's in trouble and they need babies born that will grow up and pay into it.

I was correct they did overturn roe and and now abortion numbers have come crashing down, and in some places births are up.

Some places are rushing to get baby boxes installed so there are no abandoned babies and I say they should have already had them in place. Too many babies have been left in dumpsters even with Safe Haven Laws.

Most of Gen Z is either just out of college or still in high school.

These stories are click bait.

I can’t imagine the cost of a wedding, having babies, getting a mortgage, healthcare, insurance, food in 2024.

It’s no surprise to me few are able to do that...

This is what America last looks like!

See my post 6.

The illegals just do cheap under the counter labor. Most don’t even pay into social security and send their money back home.

I have been at the grocery store and in front of me is some guy who does not speak English wiring what looks like thousands of dollars back to the old country by Western Union.

This won’t help our economy for very long.

Biden’s America. Even Carter’s America was not this bad and we had gas lines back then.

Add to the fact that we're forced to subsidize the bottom quintile having litters of fatherless children and it becomes even more expensive.

Gen Zers aren’t having children because of this scary reason

It's because they're not having sex.

You have to have sex to make babies and Gen-Z are the most sexually chaste generation since the Eisenhower years.

“If you were a financial adviser of these young people, you’d be saying, ‘You can’t afford it will have to sacrifice and live a more modest lifestyle,’” he said.

The reward is something you can't buy. A lifetime of love and joy.

In the General/Chat forum, on a thread titled Gen Zers aren’t having children because of this scary reason , Drew68 wrote:

Because prior to the authorization for the Covid 'vaccine' some researchers specifically warned that the 'vaccine' could be capable of damaging the placenta, impairing reproductive capacity. I recall one person, last name was Chunn-Linsday, speaking at the ACIP (authorization) hearing cited top flight research regarding specifics.

Then FOIAs pried trial data away from the pharmas, which the pharmas fought to withhold for 75 years. In that documentation, the pharmas had significant evidence of harm to pregnancies (Dr.Naomi Wolf reports on this - she represents researchers and doctors reviewing the FOIA's).

Dr. Naomi Wolf: Pfizer’s Depopulation Agenda, As Evidenced By Its Own Documents Targets Reproductive Cycle of Women

Dr. Naomi Wolf has uncovered hard evidence within Pfizer documents that the company has intentionally designed its mRNA shots to target the reproductive cycle of women in their child-bearing years. This puts intense depopulation pressure on entire societies. There are many other effects such as myocarditis, paralysis, stroke, blood clots, up to and including death.⁃ TN Editor

“This is a mystery novel in which the question is, how do we stop women from having healthy babies? That’s the story of the Pfizer documents.”

“These people [powers that be] don’t want us to be self-staining,” concluded Dr. Naomi Wolf in front of a live audience at a recent VAC family event. “They want us to be dependent and scared.”

All ready is doing severe damage to our economy. Because they are actually more of a drain, than a positive addition. Especially for the regular citizens.

Now, it's great economy for the 10% who are having the best economy ever under Biden's Bidennomics that soak all but the extremely rich as they grow even richer.

How many young people nowadays make marriage and family major life goals?

Young girls nowadays are growing up in a culture in which they are told they can be astronauts , or have any career they desire.

How many young people, both men and women, put off thinking about marriage because they want to develop a career?

How many young people, both men and women, coming out of college at age 21 or 22, decide that they can think about marriage and family years into the future ,if indeed they think about it at all?

That's been on the decline since the 1960s. Selfish hedonism is the norm.
