A homophobic pastor is threatening to sue a public high school in Tennessee after his daughter was sent home for wearing an anti-gay t-shirt. Rich Penkoski, leader of extremist anti-LGBTQ hate group “Warriors for Christ,” told the Christian Post that his daughter’s First Amendment rights were violated after she was told to leave Livingston Academy in Livingston, Tenn. His daughter Brielle, who is 15, wore a t-shirt with “homosexuality is a sin” written on the front, as well as “1 Corinthians 6:9-10,” (snip) “My 15 year old was thrown out of school for the day for wearing this shirt,”...

The U.S. Navy SEALs and the Navy Special Warfare Combatant-craft Crewmen (SWCC) recently changed their ethos and creed statements to reflect a gender-neutral presentation of the elite Navy outfits, doing away with gendered terms like “brotherhood.” One change to the SEAL ethos was to alter a sentence in the first paragraph of the ethos to say, “Common citizens with uncommon desire to succeed” instead of the original, “A common man with uncommon desire to succeed.” Naval Special Warfare spokesman Lt. Cmdr. Matthew Stroup confirmed the changes to the ethos and creed statements in an emailed statement to American Military News....

Anyone walking past the headquarters of the European Commission in Brussels earlier this week would have seen a dazzling light display above their heads, in all colors of the rainbow. “More than 330,000 people say: EU — Turn your words into action. Stop ‘LGBT-free zones’ in Poland now” the projected message proclaimed, in letters several meters high. The display was organized by LGBT+ rights advocacy group AllOut in collaboration with the Polish Campaign Against Homophobia. The group handed over a petition with over 330,000 signatures to the European Union demanding the bloc take urgent action over homophobic and transphobic policies...

From the moment he stepped into the White House, President Donald Trump’s record on LGBTQ rights has continued to get worse and worse. It has now been over 3 years, and despite administration officials’ claims that he is a “pro-LGBTQ” president, the attacks from the White House are still coming. From erasing any mentions of LGBTQ rights from federal websites minutes after his inauguration to supporting a school’s right to fire a gay teacher, Trump’s LGBTQ rights record couldn’t be more heinous. ...

Taxpayer-funded National Public Radio (NPR) is promoting a new book that justifies violent rioting. In "In Defense of Looting: A Riotous History of Uncivil Action," Vicky Osterweil argues that things like looting and arson are nothing more than pragmatic strategies for obtaining wealth redistribution and improving life for the working class.

Same-sex marriage no longer called 'gravely evil' in revised Bay Area Catholic handbook — ++Cordileone Caves Again [SF Examiner] In the latest revision of a proposed handbook for Bay Area Catholic school teachers, Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone no longer calls same-sex marriage “gravely evil.” The change also removed the description for masturbation and in vitro fertilization, and it comes after months of negotiations to provide a new contract and handbook for teachers of the four high schools in the Archdiocese of San Francisco. But some in the school communities feel that those who do not align with certain Catholic teachings might still...

The book-burning culture of the Left is continuing its march. As everyone knows, Amazon has achieved a virtual monopoly on the book industry. It has vast powers to decide what books people can read – and what they can’t read. After 3½ years of publishing our groundbreaking 600-page book, The Health Hazards of Homosexuality: What the Medical and Psychological Research Reveals, Amazon has suddenly notified us that it has banned it from being printed or sold on its site. Amazon is also refusing to allow us to print any more copies for our own use and has even blocked us...

California state senator and radical gay activist from San Francisco Scott Wiener introduced a bill (SB 145) that would decriminalize men having sex with young boys and no one blinked. If this passes, California parents will have no legal recourse against men who rape, grope, molest, seduce, sexually assault, or proposition their sons. No one is suggestion all gay men are predators as Wiener would have you believe, but the fact is, any man of any sexual proclivity who touches a young boy is a predator whose only place of residence should be a penitentiary where he can never touch...

Two reports caught my eye this week. One: In 2007, 90 percent of evangelicals said their church forbid (63 percent) or strongly discouraged (27 percent) “homosexual behaviors.” In 2020, that figure has dropped to 65 percent (33.7 percent forbid, while 31.4 percent strongly discourage). Two: In 2008, 34.4 percent of evangelicals between the ages of eighteen and thirty-five supported same-sex marriage. In 2018, that figure had risen to 56.1 percent. Could this data be related? Are evangelical churches changing their position on same-sex marriage to align with and attract younger adults? Are younger evangelicals changing their position on same-sex marriage because...

Ellen DeGeneres is reportedly ready to call it quits on her show amid mounting pressure and a storm of negative publicity around toxic workplace allegations. According to the Daily Mail, the host, 62, has told executives at TelePictures and Warner Bros that she’s had enough and wants to walk away. “She feels she can’t go on and the only way to recover her personal brand from this is to shut down the show,” a source told the publication. “The truth is she knew what was going on, it’s her show. The buck stops with her. She can blame every executive...

Soccer star Megan Rapinoe says the world has gone through big changes this year when it comes to race and equality but the conversation needs to continue. Gov. Tom Wolf spoke out in defense of Dr. Rachel Levine Wednesday and assailed the Bloomsburg Fair fundraising event that mocked Pennsylvania’s health secretary. Levine, a transgender woman, has been a target of slurs in recent months as she’s gained increasing visibility in the Wolf Administration’s efforts to combat the coronavirus. The governor denounced the “hate and transphobia” that has emerged in recent months. The latest controversy emerged after photos were shared from at a fundraiser held at the Bloomsburg Fair. The fundraiser, which was organized to raise money for area fire companies, included a dunk tank where a man...

The color of your skin should not determine the quality of your health. But in the United States, the HIV/AIDS epidemic is exacerbated by racism, bias, and discrimination. As America continues its long-overdue reckoning with racism and systemic injustice, we must address the devastating impact of the disease on the Black community. An end to the AIDS epidemic can only be achieved through dignity, respect, love, and compassion for all.

Germany is planning to rehabilitate soldiers who were discriminated against in past years by being rejected for promotion or even fired from the army because of their homosexuality, the Defense Ministry announced. The ministry said it intends to present a draft bill in September to address the injustices done to those soldiers who had been subjected to punitive measures by military disciplinary courts. In some cases, gay, bisexual, lesbian and transgender (LGBT+) soldiers have been disadvantaged with respect to their peers by receiving a lower salary or pension because they were refused promotions. A law preventing homosexuals from becoming professional...

The rapidly growing global acceptance of homosexuality is a sign of the end times. Sodom is mentioned four times in reference to end times (Lu. 17:28-32; 2 Pe. 2:6; Jude 7; Re. 11:8). See Gen. 19:4-7. The spirit of homosexuality has swept the world in my very lifetime. In the 21st century, same-sex “marriage” has been legalized in 28 nations. It is promoted by major global corporations, such as Microsoft, Apple, Starbucks, and Google. Massive “Gay Pride” parades are held throughout the earth, including one of the largest in Tel Aviv, Israel. Not surprisingly in light of widespread apostasy, this...

Gay and lesbian weddings have boosted state and local economies by an estimated $3.8 billion since same-sex marriage was legalized nationwide in the United States in 2015, according to a study published on Thursday. Nearly 300,000 gay and lesbian couples have tied the knot since the US Supreme Court ruled in favor of same-sex marriage, according to researchers from the Williams Institute at California’s UCLA School of Law. “Marriage equality has changed the lives of same-sex couples and their families,” said the study’s lead author Christy Mallory, state and local policy director at the Williams Institute. “It has also provided...

At a blood donation bank in Cologne, western Germany, empty bags sit ready to be filled. A few forms, a quick measure of blood pressure, a scratch on the arm, and seven minutes later donors have made their 500-ml contribution to the 15,000 blood donations needed every day in Germany. The footfall of donors, now wearing face masks due to the coronavirus pandemic, is steady, but not fast enough. Germany’s blood reserves are running low. Under usual circumstances, the German Red Cross (DRK) — which covers two-thirds of Germany’s blood supplies — would aim to have enough blood reserves for...
