On the 100th anniversary of John F. Kennedy’s birth there are countless commentaries about the promise shown by our youngest elected president and the grief felt when high hopes were dashed in Dallas. Remembering JFK is worthwhile for many reasons, but one set of reasons is likely to be overlooked. Our nation’s youngest president might be able to tell us something about our oldest. John F. Kennedy and Donald J. Trump have more in common than devotees for either would want to admit. Both were second sons of successful and domineering fathers. Both grew up in wealth and privilege, though...

Newt Gingrich thinks the new reports from The New York Times and The Washington Post about the ongoing investigation into possible collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia are "garbage." On "The Story" tonight, Gingrich pointed out that neither story cites any sources by name, and he said they're intended purely to "smear" President Trump. "And yet, these are 'bombshells'? No, they're not. They're just more of the left-wing hatred for Trump," Gingrich said. {..snip..}

The family of a Tennessee high school male student is suing a school district and the contractor that employed a female janitor accused of raping the teen. The lawsuit names Roane County Schools and Compass One Services of Tennessee — the contractor that employed 29-year-old Jessica Gaylon — and is seeking $4.5 million in damages for negligence in allowing the alleged rape on school grounds, the Knoxville News Sentinel reported. According to the lawsuit cited by the Sentinel, the janitor allegedly sent "flirtatious and sexual messages" to the teen who told her that her actions were “unsolicited, unwanted and unwelcome."...

I am in acceptance at this time that the power outages of April 21, 2017 in San Francisco, New Jersey, and New York were terror related. Think about this first and foremost: San Francisco’s power supply is controlled by Pacific Gas and Electric, most of Los Angeles is controlled by the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power while other areas are controlled by Southern California Edison and much of New York City is controlled by ConEdison. In other words, the power systems of the three cities, all of which are either far or very far from one another are...

Flour milled from discarded coffee fruit. Chips made from juice pulp. Vodka distilled from strawberries that nobody seems to want. At one point not so long ago, such waste-based products were novelties for the Whole Foods set. But in the past three years, there’s been an explosion in the number of start-ups making products from food waste, according to a new industry census by the nonprofit coalition ReFED. The report, which was released Tuesday and tracks a number of trends across the food-waste diversion industry, found that only 11 such companies existed in 2011. By 2013, that number had doubled,...

WASHINGTON — U.S. warships launched dozens of cruise missiles against a Syrian government-controlled air base Thursday in a major retaliatory strike against Syrian president Bashar Assad for chemical attacks against scores of civilians earlier this week. The missiles were launched by the Rota, Spain-based U.S. guided missile destroyers USS Ross and USS Porter from the Mediterranean Sea and were programmed to hit aircraft shelters, ammunition storage sites, radar sites, aircraft and fuel sites at Shayrat Air Base. That base is where Assad regime military aircraft that carried out the chemical strike launched from, President Donald Trump said in an address...

A fussy, effete lttle man, whose own character is well expressed by that of the protagonist in Don Giovanni, going through life transfixed with his own navel (but that's too high). In violin concerto no. 5 in A major, he's using the noble instrument of Stradivarius, Guarneri and Amati as his own pudenda, a prolonged act of cultural onanism. His failure even to attempt to approach God in emulation of the Blessed angels, shows how granting the boon of total, infused knowledge is casting pearls before swine to a corrupt little human. He lived as if his genius had been...

No matter how low your opinion of Donald Trump and his cronies, somehow they still manage to surprise you. It’s been evident for a while now that Sebastian Gorka, Trump’s top counterterrorism adviser, has at least flirted with fascism. One clue was when Gorka, who was born in London to Hungarian parents, dressed up for one of Trump’s inaugural balls in a black braided jacket popular with the Hungarian far right, pinned with a medal associated with Hungarian Nazi collaborators. Then in February, Jewish newspaper the Forward found that from 2002–2007, when Gorka was active in politics in Hungary, he...

CANNON BALL, N.D – After seven months of protests, beating drums, freezing nights and canned chili, police shut down campsites once occupied by tens of thousands of environmentalists and Native Americans fighting the North Dakota Access Pipeline project. At least one person was injured Wednesday after protesters set fire to a handful of wooden structures at the makeshift campsite. Cecily Fong, a spokeswoman for the state Department of Emergency Services, says the extent of the unidentified female's injuries weren't known. Fong said an ambulance was being sent to the encampment. Most of the 200 to 300 protesters who remained at...

President Donald Trump reportedly isn't adjusting well to life in the White House after his first month in office. That's according to Axios' Mike Allen's latest newsletter, in which he writes that a Trump adviser told him the president is experiencing "cabin fever" in the White House. Trump is reportedly experiencing headaches and frustration that he can't spend his evenings dining at restaurants like he could around Trump Tower in his old neighborhood in New York City. Trump's campaign-style rally in Melbourne, Florida, on Saturday — during which he castigated the news media and mentioned a nonexistent incident in Sweden...

Environmentalism How many times have we seen this play out? Whether it’s the Earth Day mob leaving mountains of trash on the national Mall, Leo’s private jets and mega-yachts, or Al Gore’s enormous carbon footprint, it’s always the same. The people who scream the loudest about the environment always seem to be the worst offenders when it comes to the planet’s alleged destruction. Case in point, the Dakota Access Pipeline protest camp in North Dakota. A small army of hippies had nothing better to do, so they descended on the site, screamed about the evils of oil, then left. Now...

The arrogance of these refugees has been seen time and again, but people are finally starting to stand up and fight back. Political correctness is quickly going by the wayside in the name of self preservation. After taking a couple of cheap shots from a Muslim thug, a bus driver had a bit of a rude awakening for one of Allah’s little soldiers… people actually fight back when you come after them! Muslim migrants don’t want anything to do with the countries customs or laws, and think they are above them and the people of the country. That’s why this...

Viktoria Ivachyova decided to turn herself into a human hot water bottle for hire after being inspired by a book with a character that did the same No-one really likes getting in a cold bed, so one entrepreneurial Russian woman charges men to get between their chilly sheets and get them all cosy. WASHINGTON – President Donald Trump was confused about the dollar: Was it a strong one that’s good for the economy? Or a weak one? So he made a call ― except not to any of the business leaders Trump brought into his administration or even to an old friend from his days in real estate. Instead, he called his national security adviser, retired Lt. Gen. Mike Flynn, according to two sources familiar with Flynn’s accounts of the incident. Flynn has a long record in counterintelligence but not in macroeconomics. And he told Trump he didn’t know, that it wasn’t his...

Making a dent in the immense amount of trash being hauled out of the Oceti Sakowin #DakotaAccessPipeline protest camp is being hindered by the weather. The garbage that was left behind is now frozen into massive chunks of junk. It's estimated it will take 250 trucks filled with litter to clear the camp. Each load that's dumped is inspected by the Morton County Sheriff's Department. #DAPL

You had ONE job! Evidently Donald Trump can’t make it through a single White House meeting without forgetting his manners. This time, he was caught red-handed STARING at Paula White’s butt inside the Roosevelt Room. We’ve got the shocking pic, here! Donald Trump, 70, — the man with wandering hands and wandering eyes. He may not be grabbing women anymore, but that does NOT excuse his inappropriate behavior inside the White House. As he pulled out the chair for Paula White, 50, to take a seat, Donald forgot his manners at home and totally checked out her butt in the...
