The war between Trump and FOX took an oddly different and dark turn the other day. Displaying a near-childlike inability to “let sleeping dogs lie,” Trump welcomed back Megyn Kelly from vacation with a series of Tweets deriding her top-rated show. Trump poured fuel on the fire by retweeting a supporter’s post that said of Kelly, “The bimbo is back.”

I want to beat Hillary Clinton next year. I want to beat her with a Republican who is not just another party apparatchik surrounded by lower level party apparatchiks within the Republican Party. I have tried to give a great deal of latitude to Donald Trump in his run for the Presidency. He is not a professional politician and is known for being a blunt talker. He connects with so much of the anger in the Republican base and is not afraid to be outspoken on a lot of issues. But there are even lines blunt talkers and unprofessional politicians should not cross. Decency is one of those lines.
