Four years ago, most Americans shed our ignorance and innocence as hijacked passenger planes slammed into the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and a lonely field in rural Pennsylvania. The terrorists struck at our heart, but couldn't touch our spirit.
