Ellis County man who found thousands gets the cash 06/10/2003 Associated Press WAXAHACHIE, Texas – An Ellis County man has received more than $6,000 after finding cash along Interstate 35 and then turning it over to authorities. The man found $6,900, which had apparently been run over a few times, two months ago as he was driving along I-35 near Waxahachie, said county spokeswoman Diana Buckley.
