LUCKNOW: The hunt for the wild cat is still on in Ballia. It has not been established as yet whether it is a leopard or a fishing cat which has attacked the villagers in the past week. The animal has not been identified still, said R K Singh, DFO, Ballia. At least four villagers have sustained injuries since April 9 with one of them getting seriously injured. Only a few villagers have seen the animal. The officials are combing the area. They are also creating awareness among the villagers by distributing pamphlets.
