PRESIDENTIAL NEWS OF THE DAY: President and Mrs. Bush spent the weekend at the White House. Yesterday, the President went for a mountain bike ride at the U.S. Secret Service training facility in Beltsville, Maryland. Accompanying him on ride were Health and Human Services Secretary Mike Leavitt and members of the President's Council on Physical Fitness and Sports. The President Went to Church at St. John's on Sunday and participated later in the day in a Tee Ball game on the South lawn of the White House. Monday, July 12th, the President flew to Oak Ridge, Tennessee for a speech on defense of America and to talk about and view radioactive materials put safely in TN vaults from Libya. After returning to the White House, the President met with the new President of El Salvador, who pledged his support and troops for Iraq.
