Donald Trump Jr. called out Republicans who are against former President Donald Trump’s choice for the next House Speaker, GOP Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA), and said those Republicans are “in effect empowering those who impeached Donald Trump.” Trump Jr.’s remarks come amid concerns from top conservatives about a “doomsday scenario” where House Democrats would undercut GOP power by working with certain Republicans to oppose McCarthy and install a more moderate Speaker.

The UN's nuclear watchdog has called for an immediate end to any military action near Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant, warning of a "very real risk of a nuclear disaster". IAEA chief Rafael Grossi said he was "extremely concerned" by reports of shelling at Europe's largest nuclear power plant. It comes as Ukraine said parts of the facility were "seriously damaged" by Russian military strikes. Russia seized the plant in March. Russia has kept on its Ukrainian employees, but Kyiv accuses Russian forces of firing rockets at civilian areas from the site, employing "terror tactics". Friday's strikes underline "the very real...

"The next time Breitbart or any right-wing site dares to quote the NY Times or Axios, or any Leftist trash out there, throw it in their faces. For them to even try to start trouble is PATHETIC. Low… You can see who is real and who is fake by who starts or adds to this BS from this point forward. No excuse for any site, even on our side, to EVER quote known fake news sources for anything – especially lies about infighting."

I got a call from my wife a short while ago. She got a phone call from the principal at my son's elementary school. He got into a "fight". All I know so far is that during recess he was playing basketball with some other kids and something happened. Evidently one kid kept swiping the ball from my son and he got frustrated and he shoved the other kid. I doubt this was an actual fight with punches thrown. My son is a good kid but I know he sometimes gets frustrated easily. He's competitive when it comes to sports....

Republicans on Wednesday dug up past instances of Democratic House impeachment managers and President Biden using the words “fight” or “fight like hell” — one of the key allegations against former President Donald Trump at his Senate trial. The Save America PAC’s “Trump War Room” tweeted a “FLASHBACK” screenshot of lead House manager Jamie Raskin (D-Md.) invoking the notion of combat to block Republican efforts to swiftly replace the late US Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg following her death in September. “The GOP rush to replace Justice Ginsburg is all about destroying the Affordable Care Act, women’s health care...

WASHINGTON — Dr. Deborah Birx, the White House coronavirus response coordinator, sounded a dire alarm on Sunday amid spiking Covid-19 cases across America as she expressed frustration with government officials who ignore public health guidance as caseloads and deaths rise. Speaking during an interview on NBC News' “Meet the Press,” Birx said that it’s especially frustrating to see governors and local officials refuse to enact the same mitigation strategies they used to successfully curb the virus’ spread in the summer.

Sen. Mitt Romney (R-Utah) excoriated President Donald Trump and his allies early Friday morning for continuing to fight for a clearer picture of attempts at election fraud in key swing states. Romney alleged the president had “failed to make even a plausible case of widespread fraud or conspiracy” in a host of cases the president’s team has launched in selected battleground states where he trails Joe Biden.

I was sitting here watching John King this morning with one of CNN's many White House correspondent's and the old dude reporting from the White House calls John King's Election Board - "The Magic Board", as King is telling him that the MATH does not work out for Donald Trump after the election and Trump should resign to the fact that he lost he election to a washed-up career politician. There is now starting to appear on-line many videos that are showing instancing where Republican votes are disappearing off their tally board's and Democrat scores are gaining the votes that...

"Those are the reasons why Trump fights now for every vote. He feels that his voters, and Americans in general, have been ill-served by a biased media and a Democratic Party that have condoned election cheating and trickery as long as it serves their increasingly far-left ideological leanings."

I still remember my first ice hockey fight. All the movies I’d watched as a kid, where highly choreographed fight scenes looked like expertly planned dance routines, had horribly lied to me. By the time I realised I was in a fight, at the tender age of 16, it was already half over and I’d taken three or four solid shots to the face and my jersey had been pulled well over my head, rendering me blind. The experience was jarring: unfiltered chaos, blurred vision in one eye from an errant thumb poke, a ringing eardrum from getting punched in the side of the head, the taste of my own blood and swallowing a tooth. There was just disorganised, violent confusion with a skyrocketing heart rate and buckets of adrenaline. I held my breath as my body went into shock and when it was over I threw up in the penalty box from exhaustion, even though the whole thing lasted less than 45 seconds.

"For a long time the English were considered the strongest," he said, but they were no match for Russians with martial-arts training. "There were guys sitting there with a Birmingham banner and we went up to them. 'Either we're taking your banner or you stand up and fight for it.' The Birmingham guys decided they didn't need the banner that much." The violence on Marseille's streets and in the stadium was greeted with jokes and even praise from some Russian lawmakers and officials. President Vladimir Putin called the fighting "sad," then questioned "how 200 Russian fans could beat up several...

The skeletons of burnt-out vehicles lie scattered all the way from Bentiu's landing strip to the camp for internally-displaced people. There has been fighting here in the capital of South Sudan's Unity State since the country's civil war began in 2013. Today, after a year of relative calm, violence has again surged between government forces and the opposition. The head of the United Nations Mission in Unity, Hiroko Hirahara, believes that this is linked to an upcoming round of peace talks. "People started becoming a bit more political because they wanted to position themselves," she told Euronews' reporter in South...

A disturbing video of teenagers fighting is making its rounds on social media. The video, taken in a bathroom stall at T.W. Massive brawls and food-court fights played out at more than a dozen malls across the country in what proved to be a chaotic day after Christmas. Some of the mayhem was captured on social media. The mall incidents, which ranged from minor melees to mass evacuations, occurred from Colorado to Tennessee and Texas to New Jersey. Police in some cities are investigating the role social media may have played in organizing the disturbances. The motive behind the mall brawls is not yet known. Here's what happened...

Party Politics: Every day there are stories about how deeply troubled the Republican Party is with Donald Trump as its presumptive candidate. But, if anything, the Democratic Party is in far worse shape. Think about it. Democrats still can't decide if Hillary Clinton is electable - in fact, her support has diminished as the primary season has dragged on. There are fears of a party revolt by Bernie Sanders supporters at the July convention, and there’s a huge rift forming between two of its major factions. Plus, polls show that the supposedly can't-possibly-win Donald Trump is now close to Clinton....
