SPRINGDALE - A Springdale man is behind bars because police say he was providing dental services without medical certification. Springdale police arrested Jose Duarte, 29, on Wednesday in connection with an illegal dentist operation they say he was running out of his Springdale home on North Pleasant Street. "He had a considerable volume of equipment, some of it specialized and he had set up shop in his home, in the garage he had a lab," Officer Brian Simmons said.
