WASHINGTON, (Reuters) - U.S. President Joe Biden's pledges to slash emissions from farming and to end American hunger by 2030 may be harder to realize now that Republicans flipped the House of Representatives with a thin majority. Biden's Democrats, who retain control of the Senate, will start negotiating in the coming months with Republican House leaders over a massive farm spending bill passed every five years that funds U.S. public food benefits and farm commodity programs. The current $428 billion bill expires on Sept. 30, 2023. “We know the Republicans will be less excited about innovation and will probably want...

Bananas on Table The scientists believe there are at least three wild ‘mystery ancestors’. Scientists are peeling back ancient layers of banana DNA in order to find the “mystery ancestors” before they go extinct. It is believed that humans domesticated bananas for the first time 7,000 years ago on the island of New Guinea. However, the history of banana domestication is complicated, and the distinction between species and subspecies is often unclear. A new study published in the journal Frontiers in Plant Science reveals that this history is significantly more complicated than previously imagined. The findings show that the genomes...

DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) — The federal government announced Tuesday a program that will provide $1.3 billion in debt relief for about 36,000 farmers who have fallen behind on loan payments or face foreclosure. The U.S. Department of Agriculture announced the farm loan relief program funded from $3.1 billion set aside in the Inflation Reduction Act allocated toward assisting distressed borrowers of direct or guaranteed loans administered by USDA. The law was passed by Congress and signed by President Joe Biden in August. The USDA provides loans to about 115,000 farmers and livestock producers who cannot obtain commercial credit. Those...

VIDEO AT LINK.................... Biden admin targets Amish farmer | Tucker Carlson Miller’s Organic Farm is located in the remote Amish village of Bird-in-Hand, Pennsylvania. The farm supplies everything from grass-fed beef and cheese, to raw milk and organic eggs, to dairy from grass-fed water buffalo and all types of produce, all to roughly 4,000 private food club members who pay top dollar for high quality whole food. The private food club members appreciate their freedom to get food from an independent farmer that isn’t processing his meat and dairy at U.S. Department of Agriculture facilities, which mandates that food be...

Hay bales in flames, manure dumped on highways, blockades at supermarket distribution centres and demonstrations on politicians' doorsteps. Dutch farmers have been generating global headlines with protests described by Prime Minister Mark Rutte as "wilfully endangering others, damaging our infrastructure and threatening people who help with the clean-up". This proud farming nation is under immense pressure to make radical changes to cut harmful emissions, and some farmers fear their livelihoods will be obliterated. "It's in our blood, I want to do this, and if we have to adapt to new situations, I want to, but we have to be fair,...

The carbon capture scam continues. What captures carbon and is completely organic, non-toxic, an natural? Trees. But the NWO cannot control that. The World Economic Forum has a new proposal: engineered crops whose roots DO NOT ROT when the plants die, and “capture carbon”. (This may be why they are buying up farmland like crazy.) https://igorchudov.substack.com/p/genetic-lab-designed-carbon-capture?utm_source=substack&utm_medium=emailWEF article claims: "Global food systems feed a growing world population, but are a major contributor to climate change." It's time to get rid of food crops. WEF link to "Explained: How engineered crops can fight climate change": https://www.weforum.org/agenda/2022/07/engineered-crops-can-fight-climate-change/. The Radical Christians are found in rural areas. Their towns are defenseless, they have almost no cops and their firemen are volunteers. They have to borrow cops and firemen from neighboring jurisdictions miles away in order to handle anything big. And they think they are safe out there! Forget burning the cities, we have the cities on our sides. It's time for rural areas to feel the heat. If we show up 100 people deep in every rural home, everything within a 50 mile radius intent on revolution, you'll crash their [white supremacy] system and make them pay.

There were seven major farm fires in the United States over a recent 10-day period. In the big picture, they were for the most part relatively small-scale events. But with reports of so many fires at food production facilities, you can’t help but notice. Coincidence? It could be. But it does get your attention. A barn in Hanover Township, Ohio, burned Monday. Officials initially were concerned that a person was in the burning structure but found no people or animals inside, according to the Butler County Journal-News. Saturday was a North Smithfield, Rhode Island, horse farm fire. Thankfully, none of...

A FARMER who flipped a car off his land with a forklift has been cleared after arguing he was "defending" his castle. Robert Hooper, 57, was captured using the machine to launch the £16,000 Vauxhall Corsa at his farm in Newbiggin-in-Teesdale, County Durham. Passenger Charlie Burns, 21, who had downed up to seven bottles of beer, was knocked to the ground by the tractor's lifting forks. But Hooper insisted: "I felt threatened and an Englishman's home is his castle, and my castle starts at that front gate." The hill farmer has now been cleared of dangerous driving and criminal damage....

In many grocery stores across the country, there are shortages of certain items, and food supplies have become scarce globally. Many farmers will find it impossible to plant corn this year due to dramatically increased fertilizer costs, according to a new report. Below is an excerpt from an email from an insider in the industry. “Things for 2022 are interesting (and scary). Input costs for things like fertilizer, liquid nitrogen and seeds are like triple and quadruple the old prices. It will not be profitable to plant this year. Let me repeat, the economics will NOT work. Our plan, is...

Longtime field laborers in the Mississippi Delta said in a lawsuit that they were asked to train white guest workers from South Africa before losing their jobs to them. For more than a quarter-century, Richard Strong worked the fertile farmland of the Mississippi Delta, just as his father and his grandfather did, a family lineage of punishing labor and meager earnings that stretched back to his enslaved ancestors brought from Africa. He tilled the soil, fertilized crops and irrigated the fields, nurturing an annual bounty of cotton, soybeans and corn for a prominent farming family. “I’ve been around farming all...

A commonly available pesticide has been associated with an increased risk of chronic kidney disease (CKD) in a University of Queensland study. Researchers analyzed links between pesticide exposure and the risk of kidney dysfunction in 41,847 people, using data from the U.S. National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES). School of Public Health Associate Professor Nicholas Osborne said the study found people exposed to higher amounts of the insecticide Malathion, known as Maldison in Australia, had 25 percent higher risk of kidney dysfunction. "Nearly one in 10 people in high income countries show signs of CKD, which is permanent kidney...

“One morning we had the door open letting the dogs come and go and looked up and he was standing in the living room" 👋📠=========================================================================== Chaz Sanders and her family were relaxing at home one day in the beginning of September when, out of nowhere, a stray rooster wandered onto their property. Everyone was immediately confused. “We don’t have any neighbors other than family for about 2 miles so we have no idea how he got there,” Sanders told The Dodo. The rooster, later named Ronnie, kept his distance at first, but after a few days he decided that...

China warned that the worst of the deluges that have led millions to be evacuated may be yet to come, after a third wave of floods formed in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River on Sunday (July 26). "The flood control and flood fighting situation is severe," China's water resources ministry said in a statement. "The new peak may appear later." The authorities ordered the Three Gorges Reservoir to save its water-storing capacity in preparation for more flows, and forecast another three days of torrential rain in the southern region. China's south has been battered by severe floods after...

I’m wondering, since this BLM movement seems to have gained the upper hand in the US, before extra-governmental groups begin going to rural areas and demanding White owners give up their farms and. Businesses. It happened in South Africa, I believe it’s just a matter of time.

WESTBY, Wisconsin -- Spend any time with people who supported presidential candidate Donald Trump in 2016 and you quickly find out that the reasons they voted for Trump had very little to do with him. It is likely one of the most misunderstood threads among this new conservative populist coalition. To get the real reasons for their support for Trump, you have to be where they are, have no preconceived ideas about who they are and have no prejudice for what you think their motivations are. Tom Schaub, Ralph Petersheim, Donna Leum, Kris Amundson and Ben Klinkner are all sitting...
