Conservatism is all about preserving traditions and resisting sudden change. Yet several high-profile right-wing figures sported radically different looks at this year's Republican National Convention in Milwaukee. Kimberly Guilfoyle, Donald Trump Jnr's fiancee, was hit with plastic surgery allegations after looking unrecognizable from her days as a liberal when she was married to democratic Governor Gavin Newsom. Firebrand Republican Congressman Matt Gaetz was also accused of getting Botox and other cosmetic adjustments after sporting a radical facial transformation. One of Gaetz's rival Republicans likened him to a 'blow up doll.' And Donald Trump himself is also rumored to have had...

Constituents have not enjoyed a better life under the decades-long congressional reign of Rep. Jim Clyburn (D-SC), challenger Duke Buckner said during an appearance on Breitbart News Daily, noting that individuals are struggling in that district under Democrat leadership. “Actually, at the end of this term, he will have had 32 years. So he’s been in there over 30 years, and it’s time for him to go,” Buckner said of Clyburn. “And I mean, he’ll be 84 years old next month, and all of his political clout and high rank and being the Majority Whip during the Obama administration has...

Upon first impressions, Tally Spear's new song 'Days Like These' reminds me of a younger sounding Amy MacDonald, (minus the Scottish accent) and the raw innocence of Elena Tonra who fronts the indie folk band, Daughter. The 21-year-old singer has been inspired by her Father’s folk collection which comprised of the great musicians of the 1960s, including Bob Dylan and Neil Young. ‘Days Like These’ is a beautifully sung poem, accompanied by simple guitar chords, a clappable drum beat, and tuneful harmonica.

Exclusive: Matt Barber explains how Jesus is both exclusive and inclusive You’ve heard it said that “We are all God’s children.” This rings flowery and nice. It’s an insidious lie. Indeed, God both created and loves – in a way most unfathomable – everyone who ever lived. He wove us together in our mother’s womb and numbered our every hair. But God the Father has only one begotten Son. The rest of us, in order to become one of God’s children, must be adopted – in, by and through – the One Who is the Son: Jesus Christ. Those who...

TAMPA - Mitt Romney's presidential campaign has been informed that it will start receiving Secret Service protection on Thursday, two campaign sources and a senior Republican tell ABC News. Now that both the House and Senate have passed health care reform bills, all Democrats have to do is work out a compromise between the two versions. And it appears they’re not about to let the Republicans gum up the works again. According to a pair of senior Capitol Hill staffers, one from each chamber, House and Senate Democrats are “almost certain” to negotiate informally rather than convene a formal conference committee. Doing so would allow Democrats to avoid a series of procedural steps--not least among them, a series of special motions in the Senate, each requiring a vote with...

While the Obama administration and its Democratic allies in Congress press to allow private-sector workers to unionize by signing authorization cards instead of voting by secret ballot, the government's legal-aid program for the poor has declared the so-called "card check" strategy "unreliable" and rejected an effort by some of its own workers to organize that way. The Legal Services Corp., a congressionally chartered, taxpayer-funded entity, even hired a law firm to rebuff the efforts of workers in its oversight offices to gain union representation by the International Federation of Professional and Technical Engineers (IFPTE), forcing the workers to conduct a...
