EXCLUSIVE: Mitt Romney to Receive Secret Service Protection (due to increased crowd sizes)

TAMPA - Mitt Romney's presidential campaign has been informed that it will start receiving Secret Service protection on Thursday, two campaign sources and a senior Republican tell ABC News.

Secret Service protection is being given to the campaign not because of a specific threat but because of the increase in crowd sizes as the primary season has progressed over the past few weeks, according to the sources, who refused to be identified because they don't have authority to comment on such matters publicly.

The Secret Service is charged with protecting presidential candidates in addition to the president himself, and providing protection to a candidate before he secures a nomination has become fairly common. Such decisions are made by the Department of Homeland Security, in consultation with congressional leadership.

At the Villages in Florida he had 3500 supporters in Florida. However, Newt had 4000. But that was the only time Newt had that many. APPARENTLY, Romney had those numbers everywhere he went and it was just to overwhelming for the local police. Who knows if that is true or not. Newt could ask for SS now but would most likely be turned down until he gets his numbers up. Cain was able to get SS protection too because he had the numbers and then the “BS” started coming out and once he left the campaign he lost the SS.

Too much Anti-Mitt propoganda is being used on Romney, I don’t blame them. People who use propoganda, you don’t know what they are capable of. Real Christians don’t use propoganda ever. He speaks the truth about Newt, how is that destroying anyone’s soul? Newt says night after night on Fox News, that Mitt lies. But Newt never says how. Mitt says the truth. Anyone who thinks the ends justifies the means, and tells lies is not Christian. I don’t care what church they go to. In the Bible it says there are some people who have never even heard of Jesus, yet they have his spirit, because they live by the truth. There are Mormons who live by the truth. They just happened to have been born into the Church. There is no such thing as a Human made church that is perfect. The real Church is not represented by a building. The real church is within. All human built churches are flawed. Real Christians know that, but they still need a place to worship, so they go to the best place they can find, or they go to the one they were born into.
