Some 12 kilometers from Minusinsk, near the settlement of Bystraya, is one of many locations in Russia's eastern regions where natural gas bubbles up out of the ground. In the summer, locals bring sausages and other food to cook over the open "eternal flames." Although Russia is a global leader in the production of natural gas, millions of residents of its coldest, easternmost regions remain unconnected to gas lines. . Across the region each winter, officials regularly issued air-quality warnings because of the smog from burning coal. In 2021, children from Minusinsk donned gas masks and recorded video appeals in...

Just as surely as British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak's July 4th election call gives power to the Labour Party in the UK French President Emmanuel Macron's call for National Assembly elections June 30th and July 7th will give power to the "Far-Right" National Rally. Why make this shocking move on the heels of last Sunday's National Rally victory in the European Parliament elections? Perhaps the answer lies in the fact that the muscle of the Right is needed in government to combat the Left which has Anti-Israel and Anti-Ukraine War elements among it. Macron's Liberal Capitalism would be better served...

You gotta love this part here where Macron just very subtly nods to Meloni, like: "Yeah, he's doing it again. Go get him."

It is now little more than a “developing country”. Its stock market is a “junk shop” selling old tat. And its reputation as a place to do business has “never been so bad’. In the middle of the UK’s dismal election campaign, it would be easy to imagine that Britain was the country under discussion. But Theodor Weimer, the head of the once mighty Deutsche Börse, was describing his native Germany. And he was absolutely right. After a series of catastrophic policy mistakes by centrist leaders, there is no way back for Germany – and its decline is only going...

Worrying scoop from G7 as diplomatic source tells me Biden “losing focus” in world leader sessions here in Italy. Another says “it’s worst he’s even been” at an international summit…. https://thesun.co.uk/news/28495274/joe-biden-freezes-again-shuffling-g7-giorgia-meloni/ VIDEO AT LINK...................

When Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni meets with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the sidelines of the G7 Summit, their discussions will cover several critical topics. Their primary objectives include strengthening defense cooperation, enhancing trade and investments, countering terrorism, and addressing issues related to the Indo-Pacific region. Italy is actively engaging with the European Union’s Indo-Pacific Strategy and is eager to participate both economically and strategically. The relationship between India and Italy has seen significant progress in recent years. In 2022, Modi and Meloni met on the sidelines of the G20 summit in Bali, and Meloni visited India as...

President Biden awkwardly saluted Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni as he arrived at the G7 summit in Italy on Thursday. Biden, 81, was the last of the world leaders to arrive at the venue in southern Puglia as he shuffled onto the stage where Meloni was waiting. The two spoke for a few moments before Meloni pointed toward a frame of the G7 logo, which each leader in attendance signed with a marker. As he began to walk off the platform, Biden raised his right hand over his eye and saluted his Italian counterpart.

President Biden traveled to another meeting of world leaders and, once again, weirdness ensued. Mr. Biden, the last of the honchos to arrive at the G7 summit in Italy on Thursday, was greeted by the host country’s prime minister, Giorgia Meloni. Upon shuffling onto the stage where Ms. Meloni waited, Mr. Biden kissed her on the head and appeared to sniff her hair. Following a brief exchange, she directed the president toward a frame bearing the G7 logo, which each leader signed with a marker. Before departing the platform, he offered an awkward salute to the prime minister.

American conservative media gushed over the nationalist victories in the European Union elections this week. Fox News, Breitbart, Washington Examiner, Daily Wire, The Blaze, and many others celebrated the results. Fox even praised the election as a strong rebuke to “socialism” and “far-left policies.” The American Right didn’t always treat Euro nationalists with adulatory coverage. Not that long ago, conservative outlets would warn about the dangers of these parties and slander them with the same hysteric claims liberal journos deploy. The positive coverage of Euro nationalists is another positive development for the American Right. When I started working at the...

Mining firm Rare Earths Norway says it has discovered Europe’s largest proven deposit of highly prized rare earth elements, potentially reflecting a watershed moment for both the Nordic country and the broader region. One of the few deposits not owned or controlled by China, the discovery of continental Europe’s largest rare earths deposit is considered a welcome boost in Europe’s bid to break China’s rare earths dominance. Demand for rare earths and critical minerals is expected to grow exponentially in the coming years as the clean energy transition picks up pace. Rare Earths Norway said in a June 6 statement...

News of revival from countries outside of the United States continues to travel around the world. This time, a massive gospel event in London last month saw more than 70,000 moved by the Spirit of God with many people giving their lives to Jesus Christ, experiencing healing and seeing deliverance. Evangelist Daniel Chand, pastor of Pragma Church and founder of Walking Like Jesus Ministries (WLJM), says thousands worshipped Jesus and heard an encouraging message in Trafalgar Square in the U.K. on May 4th. "We witnessed not only history but prophecy being (fulfilled)," he wrote. "Thousands in Trafalgar Square heard the...

Here are my notes (paraphrasing):- There are these Left-wing hate mobs following me now. Other leaders aren't bothered as they don't meet the public. Police told me not to get off the bus. Trade unionists... Some deluded students. One of them filled a coffee cup with cement and threw it at me. It didn't miss by much. Some better news... Booked venue (Yarmouth) was 450 capacity and I'm told we could have filled it twice over. The polls... YouGov put us on 17% and the Conservatives on 18%. We clearly have room to grow. The election is over. Labor will...

In the EU elections, a good showing for the good guys Just as increasing numbers of Americans, in response to such outrages as the disastrous Biden economy and the unending invasion at the southern border, appear to be shedding their distaste for Donald Trump, more and more Western Europeans, mostly in response to mass Islamic immigration, are rejecting their globalist elites and turning to the right. A month ago I wrote here about New York Times columnist Roger Cohen’s hysteria about the rise of the so-called “far right” in Europe – an attitude that is, needless to say, representative of...

Can the “far right” still really be called the “far right” if it becomes the mainstream? That’s a question for political scientists to ponder as Sunday’s European Union elections results came tumbling in. The right is winning in France, with Marine Le Pen’s National Rally will secure twice as many votes as President Macron’s Renaissance. Macron has already responded to the humiliation by calling for fresh national assembly elections to be held on June 30 and July 7. In Germany, the AfD, despite a number of scandals, took 16 percent of the vote, making them the second most popular party,...

At a time when ammunition is being used in Ukraine at a faster rate than the West is able to manufacture it and when the geopolitical situation has boosted the defence industry worldwide, the Fábrica de Munición de Granada (Granada ammunitions factory) has increased its activity to the highest levels in its recent history. The El Fargue facility is working at full capacity to meet demand since the increase in contracts resulting from European defence aid being sent to Ukraine. "Due to the current geopolitical situation, all defence factories have increased their activity and we are a reference in ammunition,...

https://www.foxnews.com/opinion/europe-hell-bent-forcing-us-companies-woke-has-new-law-just In May, officials in the European Union finalized a sweeping new law that will radically change business activities around the world and, by extension, the societies they operate in. The law, formally titled the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD), will not only apply to companies that are based in the European Union, but also to businesses headquartered in other countries that provide products and services in the EU.

...In such a world, the European election results are ...well, modestly encouraging. On the basis of mere exit polls, the Belgian Prime Minister has been forced to resign and the French President has been bounced into doing a Sunak - dissolving the National Assembly and calling a "snap election" for the end of the month. An election he is certainly going to lose, and very badly. So the bigshots whooping it up at Normandy just a couple of days ago had a bad night: Macron's party got less than half the votes of Marine Le Pen's. Indeed, between her triumphant...

The cop who saved lives by taking down an Islamist terrorist almost 10 years ago still can't be identified for legal reasons, and could go to prison if he speaks out about what happened. On December 15-16 2014, Man Horon Monis held 18 hostages in the Lindt Cafe on Martin Place in Sydney in a 16-hour standoff with police. Monis was armed with a pump shotgun, which he used to kill cafe manager Tori Johnson, and said he had a bomb in his backpack. The man who can only be referred to as Officer A, was part of the Tactical...
