The cop who saved lives by taking down an Islamist terrorist almost 10 years ago still can't be identified for legal reasons, and could go to prison if he speaks out about what happened.
On December 15-16 2014, Man Horon Monis held 18 hostages in the Lindt Cafe on Martin Place in Sydney in a 16-hour standoff with police.
Monis was armed with a pump shotgun, which he used to kill cafe manager Tori Johnson, and said he had a bomb in his backpack.
The man who can only be referred to as Officer A, was part of the Tactical Operations Unit (TOU) Alpha team, and shot Monis dead bringing the siege to an end in the early hours of the morning.
Ever since, his name has been suppressed without ever being given a clear reason, and it's hugely affecting his life and making his post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) worse.
'It was initiated during the Coroner's inquest,' he told Daily Mail Australia.
'It was actually put forth by my legal team initially... a standard to stop reprisal attacks.
'Since then, we've made numerous requests to the Coroner (Teresa O'Sullivan) who has told us that she can't do anything.'
His legal team has told him they believe that this isn't correct and that the Coroner does have the power to take action.
Under the gag order, Officer A could face 28 days in prison for each time he breaches the ban plus an additional $2,200 fine per each offense.
'My thoughts are (the Police) don't want it brought back up,' he said. 'They know they messed up on that day and they just want to silence me.'

This is ridiculous.
Australian inability to allow freedom of speech yet again.
They and NZ decided on draconian rule during COVID. Anyone living in Australia or New Zealand lies to himself if he thinks for a second that he’s free. He’s a subject, not a citizen. He does not even own or have any rights to his own body. It’s state property.
So what, the bad dropped his gun and the cop shot him dead anyway. I don’t see anything wrong with that.
Meanwhile, around the same time as an Islamic terrorist was getting his just desserts in Sydney...
December 16, 2014 : () Four Taliban Islamic terrorists in Peshewar, Pakistan attacked a school and carried out a mass murder. The army has put the final toll at 151 killed, 134 of them children.
Here is a story in America.
Unbelievable moment sniper shoots through a computer monitor to kill suspect holding two Bank of America workers hostage at knifepoint after making bomb threats

I think Voltaire put it well when he observed "To learn who rules over you, simply find out who you are not allowed to criticize."
Don’t believe all the crap you’ve obviously been spoonfed about the supposed COVID response in Australia.
There were definitely some issues in parts of the country - just as there were in parts of the US - but for some reason, there has been considerable effort expended on trying to convince Americans that things that happened in isolated cases were actually the norm.
I think it’s other stuff besides that. NSW Police command may have made some serious mistakes during the siege.
Frankly, in my view, police shouldn’t have been sent in - one of Australia’s two best military anti-terrorist units was available and ready to go. Police command didn’t use them.
(I am not saying the police who went in necessarily did any worse than the military unit would have - but a hostage was killed by a police bullet, so the question does need to be asked).
Bring him to the US.
Some years ago I was offered employment in Australia, a real great financial package, and I turned it down to remain close to my grown and successful children. From what I have learned since, it was a wise move.
Can’t tell the truth about a violent imported muslim.
May I suggest Officer A come to FL?
We can use his skills.

Lockdowns here were a living hell.of tyranny.
Citizens bashed and arrested for being outside.
Former deeply Christian Prime Minister Tony Abbott described those police as stormtroopers.

I was here in the longest lockdown in the world. Many more suicides.
Elderly people stricken by grief starving to death in nursing homes.
I witnessed some of the bashings and arrests and I was one of the victims.
Yes, what happened in Victoria was terrible.
It was not typical of the whole country - that is my point. But it’s being presented in America as if it was, rather than the act of one particularly dictatorial Premier.
Same as one mining camp near Darwin is presented as if there were concentration camps all over the country.
It’s misleading crap designed to manipulate people.
End result - a conservative Christian Prime Minister wound up being blamed for the acts of an atheist socialist Premier who has just been given Australia’s highest honour by the socialist Prime Minister the idiots who believed the false narrative helped get elected.
That really worked out well for Australia, didn’t it?
