I have an update on Ethan Rossi.He had a bone marrow biopsy yesterday. After the test, he woke up and asked for a ham sandwich!!! Today his oncologist called and told Brian and Carolyn that there are NO LEUKEMIA CELLS in Ethan's marrow at this time!!!!!At some point the transplant failed and his body started to produce healthy cells. I don't know about anyone else,but I believe that this is a true miracle!!!!! Thank you for your prayers and words of comfort. Praise God!!!

Almost 2 years ago, I posted a prayer request for a little boy, Ethan Rossi. At that time he was 6 months old and newly diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. When he was 10 months old, he had a bone marrow transplant. For the past 2 years he has done well, but his parents received a phonecall from his oncologist last week informing them that it looks as if Ethan's transplant has failed, At this time,we are believing that our gracious God has healed Ethan, but we have to be prudent, so on Tuesday, March 6, Ethan will go to...

As a lot of you know, Ethan is undergoing the preparatory phase of intense radiation and chemotherapy for his bone marrow transplant which is to occur this coming Friday,3/18/05. He has 2 days of chemo and 2 radiation treatments on board...essentially the point of no return. He has started to spike a temp of about 100 degrees. Please pray that this fever responds to the antibiotics and that God will protect this little body from infection. We all thank you so much for your prayers and concern.

We have received notification of a perfect bone marrow match for Ethan!!!If all goes well, he will be admitted to Boston Children's Hospital on 3/11/05. This is a miracle!!Please pray for Brian and Carolyn as they go through this wih Ethan. Also please pray for the donor.. that all will go well with him. We are so thankful for your prayers over these past months! One last thing... please pray that Ethan's body will accept this new marrow so that he can grow into the man he was meant to be .Thanks again
