Former President Donald Trump's trial in Manhattan was a "modern day Salem witch trial" that has opened the floodgates to district attorneys across the nation prosecuting former presidents, experts told Fox News Digital. "No matter how you twist and warp the traditional role of the prosecutor, it's always going to have a bad outcome. It's bad for the legal system. And you now see two DAs — both of whom are Soros, rogue prosecutors — using their office to go after somebody who, if his name had not been Trump, no DA would have even blinked an eye his way....

A study examining murders in 2021 based on death certificate data projects that one out of 179 Americans will eventually be murdered over the course of their lifetimes if the country’s murder rate remains at 2021 levels. “That means if you’re in the United States, you live here, you’re born and you spend your life here, your odds of your life ending by murder are one in 179 over your life. Not over a year or any other timeframe.” “It’s just somebody’s gonna murder you before you die of natural causes, an accident, suicide, whatever it may be,” Jim Agresti,...

Violent crimes like murders have plagued the U.S. over the last two years, and many experts blame the fallout from the pandemic and 2020’s summer of protests and riots following the death of George Floyd. The New York Times recently argued that 2020’s skyrocketing increase in legal gun purchases has also contributed to the spikes, an explanation experts are pouring cold water on. "First off, let's go back 30 years," the Heritage Foundation’s Charles Stimson told Fox News Digital in a phone interview this month. "For the last 27, 29 years, our country has had a dramatic decrease in violent...

Georgia’s public university system will not rename any of its 75 buildings with ties to slavery or racial segregation, explaining that "history can teach us important lessons." "The purpose of history is to instruct," the Board of Regents for Georgia’s public university system wrote in a statement. "History can teach us important lessons, lessons that if understood and applied make Georgia and its people stronger." The board voted unanimously on Monday against such changes, nearly a year after it established a committee to study the names and potential changes. The internal committee had advised that changes be made to 75...

NEW YORK - A Texas church is coming under fire over a video showing people inside the place of worship chanting the viral anti-Biden phrase, "Let’s Go Brandon." "A euphemism for, you know, less than well wishes for the president of the United States and it has become a kind of a radical conservative rallying cry," Oklahoma pastor Jeremy Coleman said of the video showing people within the nondenominational Cornerstone Church in San Antonio chanting the phrase.
