ST. LOUIS, MO—Actress Ellie Kemper is facing scandal once again after photographs emerged of her using Aunt Jemima maple syrup, a product that has troublesome racist ties. Donkey vs. Elephant? This is no longer the way to express the clash of the two major parties in the USA. While the Republicans proudly display their mascot’s symbol on their party’s web-site the Democrats went out of their way to get rid of the Donkey on their place on the web: Democrats.Org. The mascot with the long ears is replaced by the symbol of Obama instead. Everywhere you click you are invited to join not the Democratic Party, but to join team Obama. It is a creepy choice that resembles a cult of personality. I guess the Democratic Party...

Driver had...

Courtroom shooter sentenced on meth charges SONORA -- In a brief hearing that featured none of the theatrics that gained her fame, Ellie Nesler was sentenced Monday to six years in state prison for furnishing methamphetamine and possession with intent to manufacture the drug. Nesler, whose stunning 1993 courtroom shooting of a man accused of molesting her son made her the subject of a made-for-television movie, did not speak during her sentencing hearing in Tuolumne County Superior Court. Instead, Nesler -- who pleaded guilty last month but maintained her innocence -- sat quietly in black-and-white striped jail garb, turning around...
