Likely a toshib pc probably a portable..
They’re using a Mozilla based browser to send emails (Mac version.) which could be Safari or Firefox.
Given the fact that it’s a Yahoo account short of getting a subpoena you’re not going to identify the return track.
Am I incorrect?
it’s not source code or even code. it’s the email headers.
Don’t know if this helps any, but whois shows this for the “From” IP address:

so A toshiba pc probably portable using yahoo going through a router in italy...
this does not mean she is italian..
I get.... BE SURE TO DRINK YOUR OVALTINE.
Do we know of any White House official who has been in or is currently in Italy for any reason?
Wouldn’t this be more appropriately called “email headers” and not source code?
Source code is text in the syntax of a programming languages than can be compiled or interpreted to run a machine.
That stuff is just data.
A crummy commercial?
The thing that is most perplexing, as many others have noted, is that so many papers published THIS particular email. It is the papers that have MORE explaining to do than the sender of the email. Everyone gets spammed. All campaigns, both sides, do form letters of one sort or another. What is odd is that so many papers chose this ONE email. I am not saying that there isn’t value as to who sent it. I am saying that there is more value as to WHY so many papers chose to publish this particular person’s email.
I think we are looking at an “or else” presidency and a lot of papers seem to have gotten the “or else” message.
How is any of this going to matter, so we track it down to an Italian email address.
The email is dated January 25 which means “Ellie Light” is now fully aware of attempts to identify the origin of these letters. You can mask your IP address or even spoof your IP address pretty easily.
There are a number of sites that allow you to browse anonymously and/or mask your IP.
Of course that assumes the person in question is smart enough to engage in basic self preservation from a privacy standpoint. I wouldn’t at all be surprised if the true address of “Ellie Light” turned out to be 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue or someone in the OEOB.
Clever.

BTW Samantha Power married Cass Sunstein in 2008, so her name is technically Samantha Power Sunstein. Strangely similar to Ellie Light...(she could have used Sammie Solar Power).
I get “Klaatu Barada Nikto”
I wonder what all the newspapers have in common? same owner maybe?
68K Macintosh user agent is ancient! Pre Y2K.
