One suspect in an attempted armed robbery in East Hartford is dead after a clerk who was shot during the ordeal shot back, according to police. A small plane crash that killed a Jordanian national and injured another man in Connecticut on Tuesday was "an intentional act," The National Transportation Safety Board said in a statement on Wednesday. Union workers voted and passed a six-year agreement that includes annual wage increases and additional company contributions to employee retirement plans.
