<p>University of Louisiana at Monroe head football coach Mike Collins resigned Friday after his arrest for suspicion of driving while intoxicated and careless operation of a vehicle.</p>
<p>The arrest came after Collins was involved in a one-vehicle accident early Friday morning.</p>
