Police said Wednesday that an Augusta man they arrested hit his wife in the head with a hammer because she drank their last can of beer. Paul Sellars, 62, of the 2100 block of Kennedy Drive, was charged with aggravated assault under Georgia's Family Violence Act, Richmond County jail records state.
