I am looking for information about Dizzy Dean. I grew up in Mobile county. When I was a teenager my dad drove me to the Mississippi gulf coast to a small building for Dizzy Dean. It was closed. We later found that he had passed, so it must have been 1974. I’m trying to determine exactly where that office was. It was several hurricanes ago, so it may be gone. Does anyone know anything about that building? Thanks for any help.

NEW ORLEANS (Reuters) - Democratic Party chief Howard Dean said on Saturday the Bush administration had "cut and run" on Gulf Coast hurricane recovery and created a political legacy of deficits, divisiveness and deceit. Dean, speaking at the Democratic National Committee's spring meeting, said November's congressional elections would be a choice between real change from Democrats or more of the same from Republicans.

Dean Calls on Republican Party Leadership to Denounce Minutemen and Anti-Immigrant Rally February 10, 2006 Washington, DC - Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean issued the following statement today as Republican Party extremist Tom Tancredo joined Minuteman Project co-founder Jim Gilchrist for an anti-immigrant rally at the United States Capitol. Tancredo's extremist divisive views received the endorsement of Republican National Committee Chairman Ken Mehlman last July with Mehlman stating that he was "proud" to have Tancredo's extremism as part of the debate on immigration: "If President Bush were serious about comprehensive immigration reform, he would reject the anti-immigrant fervor on...

CHICAGO - (KRT) - Until President Bush and top Republicans reaffirm their support for the Voting Rights Act, they should stop courting black voters and showing up in black churches, Democratic National Committee chairman Howard Dean said Sunday. Dean, speaking in Chicago at a Rainbow PUSH Coalition conference, also labeled the Fox News Channel a propaganda machine and sharply criticized the Republican Party, which he said has yet to support re-authorizing certain provisions of the Voting Rights Act that expire in 2007. "I think it's hypocritical for the Republicans to pretend to reach out to the African-American community unless they...

DEMOCRATIC WALLWEED Judging by where Democratic National Committee chairman Howard Dean has spent the last few days, he almost certainly attempted to get invited to Sen. Hillary Clinton's and Sen. Harry Reid's fundraising events in Los Angeles. According to DNC sources, Dean intentionally planned a West Coast swing around the dates Clinton and Reid had circled for their events. On Sunday, Dean was in Seattle, a quick shot down the Left Coast to Los Angeles, with plans to fly to San Francisco for events Monday. Before Seattle, Dean spent time with Democratic donors in Montana. There is an increasing whiff...

Democratic National Committee chairman Howard Dean, unapologetic in the face of recent criticism that he has been too tough on his political opposition, said in San Francisco this week that Republicans are "pretty much a monolithic party. They all behave the same. They all look the same. It's pretty much a white Christian party."

Dean says Dems need to adopt old GOP tack for 2008 Borrowing a page out of an old GOP playbook, one-time presidential hopeful Howard Dean outlined to a crowded Seattle fund-raiser yesterday his game plan for Democrats winning the White House in 2008. He would run a national campaign "in some ways like a '70s Republican platform." At a fund-raiser in Seattle yesterday, Democratic Party chief Howard Dean said, "I'm tired of being lectured on moral values by the likes of Rush Limbaugh." Democrats must emphasize a message, Dean said, that touts "individual freedom" and "fiscal responsibility" -- two longtime...

Updating our story about the Moonbat convention in DC in which we said we "can't wait to hear Howard Dean's keynote speech later today, simply for the material." our prayers have been answered. No commentary is needed, we'll just let the words speak for themselves. - "You think people can work all day and then pick up their kids at child care or wherever and get home and still manage to sandwich in an eight-hour vote? Well Republicans, I guess can do that. Because a lot of them have never made an honest living in their lives. " - "Is...
