WASHINGTON, Oct. 17, 2005 - The Fisher House organization uses more than a million frequent flyer miles per week in distributing free round-trip airline tickets to families of war-wounded servicemembers being treated in military and Veterans Affairs medical facilities across the country. CLEVELAND, Texas (Army News Service, Sept. 29, 2005) – The Texas National Guard is assisting FEMA with food, ice and water distribution for hurricane victims. Area residents in Liberty County are still without power after Hurricane Rita ravaged the area Sept. 24. “There have been people coming through (the food distribution point in Cleveland) who told me they hadn’t eaten in three days,” said Capt.
