Two cops patrolling a Brooklyn housing project were nearly shot at by a runaway perp whose mother allegedly encouraged him to open fire. Around 2:30 a.m. on Sunday, the two officers patrolling the Marlboro Houses in Gravesend encountered three men drinking in a stairwell.
