The United States added German former rapper Denis Cuspert to its list of "terrorists" over his role as a fighter with the Islamic State group in Syria and Iraq, the State Department said Monday. The 39-year-old, who used to rap in Berlin under the name "Deso Dogg" and now goes by the name Abu Talha al-Almani, is one of the most famous Western fighters for ISIS. A German rapper who converted to Islam and joined jihadist rebels fighting to overthrow President Bashar al-Assad has been injured in an air strike, a jihadist group said on Monday. The jihadist, formerly known as Deso Dogg, was hiding at an anti-regime fighter's house that "was hit by an air strike and helicopter shelling", said a statement posted on Facebook by a group that identified itself as the People of Abraham. As a result of the strikes, Deso Dogg or "Abu Talha al-Almani and several other brothers were injured, while several Muslim children were killed", the statement said.

The attack came as the bus sat outside Terminal 2 at the airport, according to Frankfurt police spokesman Manfred Fuellhardt. The bus driver and a passenger were killed, and one person suffered serious wounds and another light injuries, he said.
