    Boar's Head Deli meat recall due to listeria expands to over 7 million pounds of products The recall was issued after Boar's Head meat was tested in connection with an ongoing listeria outbreak that has left 33 hospitalized and two dead. Boar’s Head recall expanded to include 7 million meat, on top of the 200,000 pounds of ready-to-eat liverwurst products and some other deli meats amid an outbreak of Listeria monocytogenes illnesses linked with sliced meat from grocery store deli counters.

There are no reports of people getting sick after eating packaged deli meat. It’s not exactly clear what meat is to blame for the listeria in this outbreak, the CDC says.
