The man arrested in Philadelphia for a video death threat made against Rep. Eric Cantor (R-Va.) did not limit his activity to the GOP minority whip. At his YouTube account, going by the name shiamuslimcantbestop, Leboon recorded hundreds of rambling, poorly-lit video threats against movie studios, politicians, religious figures and media pundits. I’ll be interested to see what conservatives do with the information that Leboon donated to Barack Obama’s presidential campaign — that decision aside, there doesn’t seem to be any rhyme or reason to the threats Leboon would make, looking into a camera, as the self-appointed “messiah.” Leboon threatens...

Federal authorities have arrested a Philadelphia man and charged him with threatening to kill House Minority Whip Eric Cantor (R-Va.) and his family. Norman Leboon will be charged with two federal counts: threatening to kill a member of Congress and interfering with his federal duties, and posting video online containing such threats. He is scheduled to appear in federal district court in Philadelphia on Monday afternoon. The arrest is the most serious in a string of threats of violence against lawmakers in wake of the divisive health care vote. At least 10 Democrats along with a handful of Republicans, including...

Death threats against Bush went unreported, but anything perceived as critical of Obama is now hyped as violent and dangerous

Fox News just ran a short story announcing a man was arrested for threatening to kill Rep. Eric Cantor (R-VA)and his family. If I heard correctly, the threat was made in a YouTube video.Nothing on the wires yet...

Staffers to a top House GOP member sought to clarify an earlier claim of political violence against him Friday after police determined that a bullet shot at his local campaign office was the result of random gunfire. Rep. Eric Cantor, R-Virginia, told reporters Thursday that a bullet had been shot through the window of his Richmond office - supposedly part of an escalating cycle of violence and threats in the wake of Sunday's sharply polarized health care reform vote. Richmond police later determined, however, that Cantor had not been targeted by political opponents. Instead, they concluded, the incident was a...

Mike Malloy: "Well, keep it up boys, just keep it up, um except for one thing: you rat bastards are going to cause another Murrah federal building explosion, you are. And then - what is Beck - maybe at that point Beck will do the honorable thing and blow his brains out."

(This video was)... sent to me via YouTube user eightieserin. This is of a protest in Chicago (the video was posted yesterday) outside Melissa Bean's office against Obamacare. This is of an Astroturfing for Obama supporter (aka Organizing for America) telling an Obamacare opponent, a mother, "I want you to die." (the line comes at about 1:40)

I posted a screen shoot of the offenders with the death threats and their twitter accounts names.

The powder-packed envelope sent Rep. Anthony Weiner's Queens office along with a threatening message on Thursday appears to have contained antacid, police say. Police Commissioner Ray Kelly said Friday that after testing, "The initial indication is that it was some sort of antacid... That was the initial finding, and it'll be confirmed in a lab." The Brooklyn-postmarked envelope showed up at Weiner's office in Kew Gardens Thursday. The congressman, who was in Washington at the time, said it contained a powder and a note that suggested he sniff it. Kelly characterized the letter as saying "something about health care and...

Kevin Jackson just leaped to the top of my list of favorite people with this beautiful performance he delivered as he faced off against David Shuster on MSNBC. While David Frum and other PCCs (“Polite Company Conservatives”) would have smiled and nodded politely and unreservedly joined Shuster in denouncing those dastardly conservative extremists for attacking a Civil Rights icon like John Lewis, the supposedly unprecedented portraying of Obama as Hitler and Tea Partiers going on a wave of destruction on Democrat offices across the nation, Kevin Jackson challenged Shuster’s (and the Left-Wing MSM’s) presumption, absent any tangible evidence, that these...

IF ANYONE HAS FORGOTTEN or was not aware: Sarah Palin’s church was torched shutting it down for months and causing millions in damage. That was what the dangerous America hating MSM reported but they forgot to mention it was filled with children, the gas-line was cut, electricity was cut and the phone lines were cut! Longer term, Palin is doing what any possible presidential candidate should do 32 months out: Hand out her precious personal campaign time and PAC money to potential allies for her own race should she decide to launch one about this time next year. That's her...

I was home sick yesterday, so I got to see some of Fox’s daytime coverage. Cavuto had some Tea Party folks on who condemned attacks on others, and then played some of the death threats that they have received. This is nothing new; the left has been doing this sort of thing for years. It has NEVER been fully covered by the MSM. For my next thoughts, let me say that this is 100% conjecture on my part. With disclaimer done, I believe that these attacks on the Democrats could very well have been done by folks on their side....

There is justifiably some concern relating to the Tea Party, Sarah Palin, and violent threats. It’s just not quite what you’ve been hearing in Big Media. On Twitter, a fellow calling himself Jason Brown has been posting since May 10, 2009, and has a total of 379 messages posted so far. He is a fan of Keith Olbermann and Rachel Maddow. Typical of his leftist political beliefs are messages like this: @maddow doesnt Cheney seem like this weird dark evil prince hmm say like Mr. Burns and i guess ol’ George was Smithers and this: goin 2 watch keith olbermann...

Can you actually believe this crud? Okay, I get it Democrats, you don't like Republicans because they oppose your social ideology - so just have your leftist media promote violence against them?.. Are you really showing your true colors (SEIU purple?) as the progressive and tolerant political party which you claim to be ?

RUSH: We're going to get to this totally contrived Republicans causing all kinds of threats to Democrats story. I'll tell you, it's a total diversion. The Democrats are so losing the information war on the health care bill that they're trying to do anything to distract everybody's attention from it, and it's as I said yesterday, this is all part of a plan to criminalize dissent. Let me just ask you a question. When is the last time you can recall a bunch of conservatives having a riot? When is the last time you can recall a bunch of conservatives...

Republicans took to the House floor Thursday to plead with those who oppose the Democratic health care overhaul to refrain from violence and threats. Opposition to the health care bill that President Barack Obama signed into law Wednesday is "no excuse for bigotry, threats or acts of vandalism and I condemn such things in the strongest possible terms," said Rep. Mike Pence of Indiana, the House's third-ranked Republican. "Some of our colleagues have received threatening phone calls. A brick has been thrown, a window has been smashed. This is not the right way to respond," added Rep. Joseph Pitts, R-Pa.,...

Tempers are flaring and heated rhetoric is flying as Congress tries to wrap up legislation overhauling the nation's health care system. Things got tense Wednesday night on Fox News' "The O'Reilly Factor," when New York Democratic Congressman Anthony Weiner — an outspoken advocate of universal health coverage — repeatedly shouted that host Bill O’Reilly was "making stuff up" about the enforcement of the law. At one point, Weiner glowered silently on camera, then shouted "Watch this" to O’Reilly, pointing to his mouth in the course of explaining that the IRS was not going to assess fines on citizens refusing to...

RICHMOND, Va. (AP) -- Richmond police say the bullet that hit a window of Republican Virginia Congressman Eric Cantor's office had been randomly fired skyward. Amid reports of threats and vandalism against Democrats who voted Sunday for sweeping health care reforms, Cantor said at a Washington news conference Thursday that a bullet was fired into his Richmond office. In a news release, Richmond police said that the bullet had been fired into the air early Tuesday.
