Imagine watching your information source station, with different shows, different hosts, and different areas of news and information covered, and the big corral of top news analysts and experts joining the knowledgeable talking heads that keep you on top of everything and in front of everyone else that you meet and know, and then you find out it was all fluff and you have played the fool for years while those people you were arguing with and lording it over, were getting accurate information.

A big enough slap in the face can make you turn them off and never come back to them.
