  • This Time I Won’t Be Me, Person Who Plays Themselves in EVERY Movie They Are in Promises to Play Someone Else

"For some reason modern day Hollywood (AKA Hollyweird AKA Groomers R Us AKA We hate babies!) has become incredibly formulaic, with reboots, remakes and reimaginings ruling the day. Some also say there are too many comic book based movies, even though the stories are unique yet interconnected (think Marvel through Avengers End Game, except for the woke Black Panther and the woker Captain Marvel, rather than DC which has issues). The other problem today is that the same actors are hired for every movie and never seem to play a different character, by choice or due to lack of ability....
  • Blunder Twin Powers Activate, How Ezra Miller and Jason Momoa are Tag-Teaming the Destruction of the DCEU

"“Form of a string of douchey statements. Shape of a career killing series of events.” –the Blunder Twins. The actual Wonder Twins movie was just canceled, which is a win as they are the worst characters ever and there was zero reason for a movie about them. Batgirl was also canceled after filming was complete, and with respect to the “Afro-Latina” woman who was set to play her Batgirl didn’t need a race swap. The problem is that inventing new characters takes talent, so leftists take the easy way out and ruin existing characters to push their agenda instead (more...
  • ‘Birds of Prey’ Flailing With $34 Million Box Office Opening

Margot Robbie’s “Birds of Prey” is set to open well below forecasts, with about $34 million at 4,236 North American sites, early estimates showed on Friday. Estimates for “Birds of Prey,” a spinoff of 2016’s “Suicide Squad,” had been in the $45 million to $55 million range, with Warner Bros. projecting an opening closer to $45 million. “Birds of Prey,” which carries a reported $80 million price tag, touched down with $4 million on Thursday night. Reviews have been strong, earning the film a 84% rating on Rotten Tomatoes — a reversal from “Suicide Squad’s” 27%. The film made $7.8...
  • ‘Aquaman’ Darting To $120M+ In Competitive Christmas 5-Day Corridor – Box Office Preview

Between last weekend and Christmas, ten wide releases carrying a combined near production cost of $913M will vie for business in a box office marketplace that one distribution source describes as a “game of chutes of ladders; there will be winners and there will be losers.” The multiple factor is wild, and many studios, (if you’re not Disney with a Star Wars movie) like to assess business over the long haul, with clicking turnstiles all the way through the MLK holiday in January. That’s not B.S. when you consider how Sony’s Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle was able to excel...
  • Birds of Prey Movie: Margot Robbie Pushing to Hire Diverse Co-Stars

Margot Robbie is hoping to have a diverse cast around her for Birds of Prey. One of the DCEU's greatest strengths so far is the diverse nature of their lineup. Jason Momoa's Aquaman, for example, is very different from the traditional Arthur Curry look. However, they've also been a prime example of giving females starring roles and seeing the success that can come with it. Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman is their highest grossing and best critically received movie. Meanwhile, Suicide Squad introduced Robbie as Harley Quinn, and the film still made over $700 million at the box office despite a...
  • ‘Justice League’ Encounters Kryptonite At The B.O. With $93M+ Opening: Why The DC Movie Weakened

Justice League‘s Friday, coming off a solid $13 million Thursday, is landing at the high end of its midday estimate with $38.4M, however, Warner Bros./DC’s superhero ensemble is falling well short of $100M with an industry estimate of $93.5M over three-days, quite far from tracking’s $110M-$120M projection. How dismal is this? This event movie at a reported estimated production cost of $300M was ten years in the making, and was intended to be the pinnacle for the Warner Bros./DC universe introducing new characters such as The Flash, Cyborg and Aquaman who could hold their own franchise weight with their own...
