resurfaced video shows Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-Md.) unveiling a plan for Congress to implement “civil war conditions” and disqualify former President Donald Trump if he wins the November presidential election. According to Legal Insurrection, Raskin’s comments were given in February during an appearance at the Politics and Prose bookstore in Washington, D.C., prior to the Supreme Court’s ruling that individual states could not prohibit Trump from appearing on the ballot by using the 14th Amendment. “The court is not going to save us,” Raskin said. “And so that means the only thing that really works is people in motion amending...

The Constitution provides that an oath-breaking insurrectionist is ineligible to be president. This is the plain wording of Section 3 of the 14th Amendment to the Constitution. “No person shall … hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any state, who, having previously taken an oath … to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof.” there is the bipartisan inquiry of the House Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th attack on the United States Capitol....

Senator Mitt Romney (R-MA) said Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union” that January 6, 2021 will be seen “as a very dark day in American history.” Host Jake Tapper said, “Four years ago next month you were running for your life from the mob on January 6. And now the person that you said was responsible for that day is about to return to the White House. He says he’s going to pardon a lot of the people that have been convicted for the crimes committed on that day. What do you think the legacy of January 6 will...

The Empire State Building won’t light up to honor Polish Independence Day on Tuesday — and charged-up critics aren’t taking the snub lightly. Several City Council members told The Post they’ve pushed for the tribute but they’ve been met with multiple denials from the organization that decides on the lighting schedule for the famous Manhattan skyscraper. “The Polish-American community is one of the largest ethnic communities in New York, and they have made significant contributions to our city’s cultural, social, and economic fabric,” council members Bob Holden, Joann Ariola, Lincoln Restler and Carlina Rivera wrote in a Nov. 4 letter...

Kate Smith first performed “God Bless America” the day before Veteran’s Day in 1938. She was a patriotic American, who wanted to encourage fellow citizens as they suffered through a terrible depression and saw a world being torn apart by Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan. She wanted to reach Americans with the faith she felt for the future of the nation. As a leading performer in a radio market reaching nearly every household in the country, her way would be through song. So, Kate asked Irving Berlin to write a song that would cause citizens to embrace a positive perception of...

Fox News host Sean Hannity said Monday on “Fox & Friends” that Democratic presidential nominee Vice President Kamala Harris has a “math problem” going into Election Day. Co-host Brian Kilmeade asked, “What is your take of the state of the race right now? Everyone’s got their opinion. I want yours.” Hannity said, “Look, let’s start out with where we are with early voting. Going into tomorrow, we’ve got to keep this in mind, everyone at home, please keep this in mind, we have 80 to 90 million more Americans that will vote tomorrow. That’s a lot of votes that have...

More than half of American voters have voted early or plan to vote before Election Day, a new Gallup poll revealed Thursday. Out of 933 registered voters surveyed between October 14 and October 27, 20 percent said they had already voted, and another 34 percent said they are planning to do so before November 5, bringing the total to 54 percent. While the pollster found that the number of early voters is lower than what it was in 2020 — 64 percent — the rate is still higher compared to pre-coronavirus election years, before the popularity of voting by mail...

The establishment media, with just 21 days until Election Day, published numerous negative headlines about the Harris campaign Monday. The stories are notable because the media are allied with Vice President Kamala Harris and mostly give her positive coverage. Many outlets have outright endorsed her candidacy. The articles suggest the media are warning the Harris campaign of a potential loss. Polling shows former President Donald Trump is running ahead of his 2020 and 2016 performances. Swing state polling indicates Trump is either leading Harris or is within the margin of error. Early voting and voter registrations also appear to benefit...

Walking 10,000 steps a day is one of the most popular health goals in the world, largely thanks to the influence of the best fitness trackers. This divides opinion in the fitness space: some claim it’s an arbitrary figure which has led to an obsession with “getting your steps”, while others argue that encouraging people to move more can only be a good thing. As a fitness writer, and someone who has walked 10,000 steps a day for more than a year, I have a foot in both camps. The number 10,000 is nice and round, but doesn’t seem to...

Climate alarmists are lamenting July’s warm weather, asserting earth saw its hottest day on record this week and likely “the hottest day in thousands of years.” July 21, which exceeded the old milestone set last July, “very likely stands as the hottest day in thousands of years, based on tree ring records, ice cores and other so-called paleoclimate data,” declares senior climate reporter Andrew Freedman, writing for Axios. “We are now in truly uncharted territory and as the climate keeps warming, we are bound to see new records being broken in future months and years,” states Carlo Buontempo, director of...

On Friday’s broadcast of NewsNation’s “Cuomo,” Biden Surrogate Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA) stated that President Joe Biden clearly didn’t have a good performance in Thursday night’s debate and he doesn’t know what President Joe Biden’s “advisers were thinking, having a 9:00 p.m. debate. There are probably not many people who are in their 70s and 80s around him, but he does much better in the day.” Khanna said, “Obviously, the President didn’t have a good night, but he admitted that. And he said, look, I’m old. I don’t know what his advisers were thinking, having a 9:00 p.m. debate. There...

What did all you dads do today (or have planned)? Last week our oldest daughter and boyfriend took me to a wonderful South American restaurant called "Oyo" in Pleasanton, CA. It's a fusion of northeast South America (Guyana), Caribbean, and West African. Outstanding. We then took the Niles Canyon Scenic Railway ride which is really gorgeous. Today I got a nice phone call from our middle daughter in Spokane and we chatted a long while catching up. She and her husband are headed to the Oregon Coast for a week (and will meet up with oldest daughter and boyfriend). This...

The NYPD is bracing for possible unrest to rock Monday’s star-studded Met Gala, law enforcement sources told The Post — as anti-Israel groups called for a “Day of Rage” protest at CUNY’s nearby Hunter College. Police security will be heightened in and around the Metropolitan Museum of Art as A-listers start descending on the iconic Upper East Side venue for the glitzy gala Monday evening, sources said. No specific threats have been identified so far for Fashion’s Biggest Night — but everything is on the table, a police source noted, adding that protests in the vicinity are widely expected. “We...

Former Fulton County prosecutor Nathan Wade said Monday on “Good Morning America” that former President Donald Trump’s Georgia election interference case will get to a “day of reckoning.” Wade was required by the Judge to be removed from the case because of his relationship with District Attorney Fani Willis. Reporter Linsey Davis said, “One aspect Wade said he wasn’t prepared for was the intense public scrutiny and harassment he said he’s faced. You didn’t realize when you took the case your life was going to be under a microscope?”

While presidents have long had disagreements on national policy, many agreed that unchecked immigration to the United States ultimately hurts Americans and those legal immigrants who have already arrived. Five presidents, in particular, have famously warned against mass immigration to the United States — despite their differences on a variety of other issues. In the early 1920s, President Calvin Coolidge (R) drastically reduced annual legal immigration levels to the United States, stabilizing the nation’s population following decades of record-high immigration. Coolidge, in a December 1923 address, said immigration levels must not exceed the ability of Americans to absorb new arrivals...

Radical-left activist and former politician Nina Turner marked Presidents’ Day, the holiday officially named “Washington’s Birthday,” by attempting to vilify America’s first president and founding father as well as other early U.S. presidents. In a post from Monday, Turner, a one-time Ohio state senator and current Senior fellow at Institute on Race, Power and Political Economy, wrote: “Reminder: George Washington owned human beings.” Reminder: George Washington owned human beings. — Nina Turner (@ninaturner) February 19, 2024 In a follow-up post, she insisted “this President’s Day we must remember that 12 of the first 15 Presidents enslaved other human beings.” “We...
