More than half of American voters have voted early or plan to vote before Election Day, a new Gallup poll revealed Thursday.
Out of 933 registered voters surveyed between October 14 and October 27, 20 percent said they had already voted, and another 34 percent said they are planning to do so before November 5, bringing the total to 54 percent.
While the pollster found that the number of early voters is lower than what it was in 2020 — 64 percent — the rate is still higher compared to pre-coronavirus election years, before the popularity of voting by mail boomed.

A lot is early in-person voting. If done right with valid ID, shouldn’t be a problem. In GA about 15 out of 16 early votes are in-person.
Many of those are in all-mail RAT states like CA, CO, and OR.
If these conditions are met, there is no excuse for any State to not have its results by the end of election day, and it will be near impossible to steal.
My concern this entire election cycle is that the early votes for DJT are cannibalizing election-day votes.
But Scott Pressler says that that is not happening.
And even so, the DemComs usually are very heavy on early voting and lighter on election-day voting, so whatever margins DJT has going into election day, he should be able to maintain.
Not counting the voter fraud carried out by the Mob and unions in places like Filthydelphia and The Pits Burgh.
Josh Shapiro, who helped the DemComs steal the 2020 election from DJT, is busy at his dirty old tricks again in PA.
Liberal meltdown. Trump doesn’t work for a sanitation department! If he does it’s because he couldn’t hold a job at McDonalds!
I voted today in MA. and for the first time had to show ID.
...great time to get out of the grave to cast your vote!
“Josh Shapiro, who helped the DemComs steal the 2020 election from DJT, is busy at his dirty old tricks again in PA.”
It is in his best interest if CommieLa loses. Same with the dominatrix governor in Michigan.
For me it’s convenience.
I voted this past Tuesday in person.
There was no line, only took a couple of minutes.
If I waited until Election Day, i’d be standing in line 30 minutes to an hour.
And it’s still flu and covid season, and there will be people coughing and sneezing in line.
And I can only hold my breath so long.
And by voting early, I can’t be surprised at the last minute that someone else voted in my name.
I have thought that too. A Kamala presidency, if it doesn’t destroy the country, will destroy the democrat brand forever.
Early voting accomplishes two things. One, it gives the democrat machines an estimate of how many ballots to produce, and two, it reduces the chance any fraud will be found due to not having produced “too many” excess ballots for their candidates.
I thought that too, but here is my opinion which I hope is of some comfort. Being a conservative Election Day is as close to sacred as any secular thing to me. I decided to vote early to make sure that my vote was case. Election Day has always broken to the republicans. It is the concept as of 2020 and of 2022 if the red mirage.
I think the early votes are breaking republican ad in Georgia where the exurban areas and rural areas are through the roof. I think the other 50% are the Rs who still want Election Day as tradition. I think it is set up to the best of both worlds.
Following the data and where things are being reported is revealing in my opinion ithe broken glass voters are the early voters.
While I am optimistic we all have angst
