In a recent op/ed in the Washington Post, columnist Eugene Robinson argued that “it is no longer possible to think of the Republican Party as a coherent political force.†Robinson further argued the current Republican Party was “factionalized and out of control.†Unfortunately, Robinson was correct in his assessment of today’s Republican Party, and that should worry us all. (SNIP) First, they are not so much conservative as they are anti-government, and there is world of difference between those two things.
