You had to see what came before Hayes: Chris Matthews spending a whole hour taking a victory lap over Trump’s latest order keeping families together, calling Trump a liar for saying there was a law against keeping them together. Hayes(show) comes on 8pm and he does the same for ~ 10 minutes then brings on Andrew Cuomo who says the order means nothing because its illegal to keep the kids with their parents (adult family members) and will be halted by a judge. Better yet Cuomo goes on to say he is suing the government for splitting up the families...

At 2:00 p.m. today in Tampa, the Republican National Committee, led by Team Romney, is moving to shut down conservative grassroots activists. I’ve been on the phone with several individuals involved in the fight who tell me that the fight is not over, it is only just starting.Specifically, the media is reporting that the rules fight is over because Team Romney is abandoning Ben Ginsberg’s effort to allow candidates to control delegates. Under an initial proposal, delegates would, in effect, be chosen by the presumed nominee’s campaign and not based on votes in the states and delegate selection processes in...

Texas governor and GOP presidential candidate Rick Perry, in an interview with a local African-American newspaper last October, boasted about his appointments and nominations of African-Americans to top spots on major state commissions, state boards, college and university boards, and to the courts. His signature appointment was Wallace Jefferson as chief justice of the Texas Supreme Court. Perry made the point in nominating Jefferson that merit not color was his watchword when it comes to race. He told the interviewer that “the color of your skin or the sound of your last name, that if you are willing to work...

FALLUJAH, Iraq - Two Iraqis stepped from their car and opened fire early Tuesday, killing two Americans and wounding nine in a city whose people have made clear that U.S. troops are not welcome. The violence in Fallujah, a hotbed of support for Saddam Hussein (news - web sites), was the latest in three deadly days for the U.S. military in postwar Iraq (news - web sites) — further evidence the country remains a perilous place for its American occupiers. Eight American soldiers have died in Iraq since Sunday — in direct attacks, accidents and explosions. Nearly two dozen have...
