ABC’s left-wing late-night host Jimmy Kimmel trashed Vice President Mike Pence over his decision to receive the Pfizer vaccine for the coronavirus, arguing that Pence’s past skepticism over a second wave makes him unworthy of receiving the vaccine. “Speaking of cold, white stuff, Mike Pence is expected to get his first of two Pfizer shots tomorrow,” Jimmy Kimmel said his opening monologue on Thursday, tasing aim at Pence and his wife Karen’s decision to take the vaccine to prove it is safe. “I guess the thinking is, if it’s good enough for America’s First Karen, it should be good enough...

There was an interesting moment on Monday as the hosts and guest on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” were discussing the coverage of the election. Willie Geist raised the possibility that President Trump could declare victory on election night before all the votes have been counted. Joe Scarborough responded that NBC would simply make a Twitter-like determination and not carry the speech. It would not be treated as obvious news but rather “disinformation” . . . regardless of what has transpired on election day. What is ironic is the Geist had just slammed Trump for making plans to send in lawyers “no...

Democratic Hawaii Sen. Mazie Hirono said “hell no” while casting her vote against Judge Amy Coney Barrett on the floor of the U.S. Senate. A Republican-majority Senate confirmed President Donald Trump’s pick to replace the late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg by a 52-48 margin Monday night. While the roll-call vote was being conducted, Hirono could be seen walking up to the table and entering her vote against Barrett by saying “hell no” while putting her thumb down. WATCH:

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer invoked the "two-hour rule" Tuesday, a measure that constrains the scheduling and duration of Senate committee meetings. The move is intended to retaliate against Republicans, who have agreed to vote on confirming President Trump's nominee to fill the Supreme Court vacancy left by Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg's death. Under the rule, no Senate committee or subcommittee can meet after the Senate has been in session for two hours or after 2 p.m. The move potentially delays a briefing on national security and a confirmation hearing for Acting Homeland Security Secretary Chad Wolf.

Today, NASCAR released a picture of the garage pull-down rope and knot that both they and Bubba Wallace described as a “noose hanging over the car“. Except it clearly was not hanging over the car, and it clearly wasn’t a “noose” or it wouldn’t function to help pull the door down. Driver Bubba Wallace now calls it “a non-functioning noose.” Or, in simple terms, a garage pull-down rope with a loop-knot tied in the end. However, what NASCAR does not yet realize is the picture they have provided actually makes the situation worse; because the picture shows something else, something...

Hi, I was wondering if other people felt that we seem to be posting very long posts recently. It's not a huge deal, but sometimes I don't really like reading through a very long post. Maybe I'm being a stickler but I just wondered if anyone else felt that way. Thanks! Julie

Thursday on CBS’s “The Late Show,” Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) got emotional while discussing his fear of law enforcement, offering childhood experiences as part of his story. On President Donald Trump’s Monday speech, Booker said, “For him to in one side of his mouth to be speaking in front of the White House how he supports peaceful protesters then behind him, to unleash tear gas, rubber bullets, men on horseback charging or marching into that crowd, it was horrific, and tramples some of the most, to me, sacrosanct ideals of America, the right to petition your government, the right to...

Carona Nazis Close the Beach for Walking here on the West Coast of Florida away from crowded areas. We talked with a man who said he shouldn't have brought his beach chair as they only allow you to walk in the morning. This was far away from any crowded areas. My wife, who is an ER Nurse on our 25th anniversary, can't believe they have taken it to this extreme. We said to one another "Will they shut it down for the next Flu seasons to come"?? We were going to go to Bora Bora this Thursday, but the doctors...

I am leaving FR after the owner instructed me to not post on a Trump thread. I posted a list of the people Trump and his AG have failed to indict and imprison even for sedition. Some of you have seen me post this before. I never was warned or suspended. Every word I posted was true. I even post options Trump had, when he entered office, but he chose to give the criminals a pass by appointing a weak AG. I came to FR at a time I was leaving the Libertarian Party for its unacceptable Abortion, Immigration, and...

PHOENIX – The man shot in the groin with a non-lethal weapon by police during a protest outside a 2017 Phoenix appearance by President Donald Trump intends to sue the city. Joshua Cobin told KTAR News 92.3 FM on Friday that seeing Facebook posts by police officers that mocked the incident pushed him to file a precursor to a lawsuit this week. The posts were in the news after this week’s release of the Plain View Project, a database of public Facebook activity by current and former police personnel in eight cities, including Phoenix. The project’s website says the posts and comments selected were...

Troops based around Beijing sympathized with Tiananmen Square student demonstrators and comingled with them: For that reason the Chinese Communist Party used force by prevailing on the loyalty of Army units much further away. These troops could rely on nothing other than the words of the CCP, which described striking students as lawless brigands and dangerous, armed traitors. A MILLION people were in Tiananmen Square and China used 300,000 troops to put down the uprising. The firing went on for 48 hours, in total. ALL credible death estimates run into the thousands, but some even go over 10,000. Today, Google...

Russian President Vladimir Putin on Saturday made his first comments on a U.S. court sentencing admitted Russian foreign agent Maria Butina to 18 months in prison, calling her treatment a travesty of justice.Butina was sentenced on Friday after the Siberia native, her voice breaking with emotion, begged a judge for mercy and expressed remorse for conspiring with a Russian official to infiltrate a gun rights group and influence U.S. conservative activists and Republicans. 'The Trumps had beef with me then, and they're gonna have beef with me forever. I'm not gonna forget': Meghan McCain blasts Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner for attending her father's funeral The View co-host appeared on Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Thursday Said she was shocked when Jared and Ivanka attended John McCain's funeral I thought that my family had made it clear, or at least I had, that the Trumps are unwelcome around me, and that my father had been sort of very clear about the line between the McCains and the Trumps,' she told Colbert. 'So...

Meghan McCain didn’t know that Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner would attend her father’s funeral — and she wishes they hadn’t. “It made me uncomfortable,” McCain told Stephen Colbert when she was a guest on “The Late Show” Thursday night. “And I hope I made them uncomfortable, honestly.” McCain, a co-host of “The View,” also said that she is very much a conservative — but that if former Vice President Joe Biden runs for president and gets the Democratic nomination, “I’m going to have to quit television because I can’t say anything bad about him.”

There are essential and non-essential federal employees. During a shutdown the non-essential do not report to work while the essential MUST or risk termination. Neither group receives pay while the shutdown is in effect. When it's all settled and everyone gets their back pay, the non-essential group received paid days off while the ones that were required to report for duty got shafted.
