Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says he has gone into isolation for five days after coming into contact with someone who later tested positive for COVID-19. Trudeau tweeted he learned of the contact on Wednesday night. He took a rapid test which came back negative but said he will isolate for five days to follow health guidelines. “I feel fine and will be working from home,” he tweeted. “Stay safe, everyone — and please get vaccinated.” That means Trudeau will not be around Monday for the reopening of Parliament after its Christmas break. Tens of thousands flocked to Orange County beaches that are still open during the coronavirus pandemic as the hot weather settled over the region. Surfers and crowds of people were seen along the Huntington Beach coast as the region is experiencing a heat wave that is expected to last through the weekend. Officials urged individuals to continue practicing physical distancing when outside, but that didn't seem to be the case Friday afternoon. On April 23, Police arrested a Meridian, Idaho mom while she was allowing her kids on a playdate at a local park for violating Coronavirus restrictions. While the kids were playing on a swing set, officers approached the mother who they inevitably handcuffed and walked to a police car. Other parents who congregated in a grassy area flanking the swingset gasped and asked the officers for explanations. Many of them filmed the incident. Now, Idahoans are taking matters into their own hands and protesting the cop’s home.

"We were notified a group is planning a similar protest in Lancaster," Parris wrote. "Make no mistake people who deliberately violate the social distancing laws, and the laws requiring that we all wear a mask will be identified, arrested, and prosecuted."
