All three defendants charged in a triple homicide in Coon Rapids have now been convicted by juries, following the Dec. 12 conviction of Omari Malik Shumpert on multiple murder charges. According to court records, Shumpert was convicted on two counts of first-degree premeditated murder under an aiding and abetting theory, three counts of first-degree murder with intent while committing a felony, and three counts of second-degree murder with intent.
