QADISIYAH, Iraq, Sept. 2, 2009 – Children here are getting an opportunity most of their parents never had, as they plan to move into a new school later this year as part of a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers project. Construction on Al Hasan Al Basri school, a project of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Gulf Region Division, began in April 2009 in Qadisiyah province, Iraq.
