CNN.com finally posted an article about the most recent global warming scandal: the emails that show global warming “experts” collaborating to falsify information and keep dissenting views from the public. The emails surfaced days ago, but this is the first article CNN has posted online regarding the scandal. Apparently, CNN has still not seen fit to assign its own reporters to the story; the article was carried from Wired Science. And rather than report the straight facts, the article focuses mainly on the researchers’ complaint: that emails were taken “out of context.”

Wow! The scandal just gets juicier and juicier. Now it seems that the Kiwis may have been at it too – tinkering with raw data to make “Global Warming” look scarier than it really is. (Hat tip: Watts Up With That; Ian Wishart) The alleged villains this time are the climate scientists at the National Institute of Water and Atmospheric Research (NiWA) – New Zealand’s answer to Britain’s Climate Research Unit. And to judge by this news alert by the Climate Science Coalition of NZ, both institutions share a similarly laissez-faire attitude to scientific accuracy.........

As Robert Tracinski correctly notes, the Global Warming hoax is the scandal of the century. People should be investigated and prosecuted for perpetrating a fraud so large it makes Bernie Madoff look like Santa Claus.

Call it the Domino Effect. After Monday’s Newsnight item on the Climategate scandal it is evident that the leaked e-mails allegedly from the University of East Anglia’s manmade global warming propaganda unit are threatening to bring down more than just the IPCC/Al Gore axis.
