A UN scientist is declaring that his three fellow UN climate panel colleagues "should be barred from the IPCC process." In a November 26, 2009 message on his website, UN IPCC contributing author Dr. Eduardo Zorita writes: "CRU files: Why I think that Michael Mann, Phil Jones and Stefan Rahmstorf should be barred from the IPCC process."
Zorita writes that the short answer to that question is: Short answer: "Because the scientific assessments in which they may take part are not credible anymore."
Zorita indicates that he is aware that he is putting his career in jeopardy by going after the upper echelon of UN IPCC scientists. "By writing these lines I will just probably achieve that a few of my future studies will, again, not see the light of publication," Zorita candidly admits, a reference to the ClimateGate emails discussing how to suppress data and scientific studies that do not agree with the UN IPCC views.

An all out assault by the Global Warming hierachy on the CRU miscreants is probably the only tactic that will save this phony science.
The MSM is probably on board to disclose a HUGE controversy where the UEA group will be chucked out and a new center for Earth Sciences installed in the USA.
That’ll work to stop the scandal.

It’s not that the CRU people did anything that isn’t being done everywhere. They are just the ones who got caught.

That’s the real story: THE DECLINE.
And the efforts to HIDE it.
Is CRU the only place where HIDE THE DECLINE is the watchword of the day?
Of course not. If it were, then we wouldn’t even be HAVING this discussion, would we.
If the DECLINE were not HIDDEN, then there would be no Copenhagen, no crap-n-trade, no MENTION of GLOBAL WARMING (aka climate change).

I hope you are right. It would seem, the UEA munchkins are rapidly outliving their usefulness. There are thousands more, just as dedicated to their pre-determined convictions ready to fill in the breach and the baloney - they surely have similar data -but have taken deceptive measures to keep the *heat* on.
We have to hope some scientists with integrity, will get a conscience ...like the insider who blew the CRU UEA cover.

And yes, it is a swindle- a fraud and a cheat and a scam-- a deliberately designed construct intended to con you out of things you hold dear-- money, prosperity, freedom... and a few other things, as well.

It is just more of Ayn Rand’s writings coming true. There are plenty of naysayers to talk about her sophomoric writing style and all that but she nailed it all down long ago. I can almost quote word for word where she said that “free scientific inquiry” is a redundancy and government sponsored scientific inquiry is a contradiction in terms. NEVER, NEVER, NEVER trust the government or anyone who is making huge sums of money by pleasing the government.
I sometimes think that the single most amazing thing about people is that so many are so quick to believe the government before they will believe their oldest and most trusted friend.
That has to apply also to the assessments already done and published by the IPCC.
