Fifty Republican military veterans serving in the U.S. Congress on Wednesday sent a letter to Democrat vice presidential candidate Gov. Tim Walz (MN) harshly condemning his lies about his military service. They said in the letter, which was released as Walz readied to deliver remarks at the Democratic National Convention: The Office of the Vice President is a position that requires the trust of the American people and a solemn commitment to duty on behalf of the United States of America. As veterans who have served our nation, we feel compelled to address your egregious misrepresentations and urge you to...

The New Jersey lawmaker served 28 years for the state's 9th congressional district in the House of Representatives and was hospitalized after an incident last week. He recently spent 28 days in treatment and needed 'breathing assistance', but then suffered a setback which forced him back into a rehabilitation facility. 'It is with deep sadness that we announce that Bill Pascrell Jr., our beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away this morning,' his family said on X. 'As our United States Representative, Bill fought to his last breath to...

Socialist dictator of Venezuela Nicolás Maduro announced on Monday that his regime would host a world congress “against fascism, neo-fascism, and similar expressions.” Maduro said that the yet-to-be scheduled event will seek to “exchange strategies” to “fight fascism,” which he has often defined broadly to mean any opposition to hardline socialism. Maduro has for over a decade used “fascism” as a reason to violently repress political dissidents in the country. The dictator made the announcement during a Monday evening event with leaders of the ruling United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) and its allied parties.

The 291-page report lays out evidence of the Biden family’s foreign payments and the family patriarch’s role in meeting or speaking with partners. The Republican-led House committees leading the impeachment probe into Joe Biden concluded Monday the president engaged in impeachable conduct by helping to enrich his family with millions of dollars in business schemes that traded on his name and then defrauded voters by lying to cover up the scandal. The House Oversight, Ways and Means and Judiciary Committees said they believe the evidence from their nine-month investigation establishes that Biden abused his office and violated his oaths under...

The nearly 300-page report on Biden family corruption matters for many reasons, the most important of which is to restore America’s standing in the world. With Joe Biden out as Democrats’ candidate for president, the House of Representatives’ report on the impeachment inquiry released this morning may give off a “What difference, at this point, does it make?” vibe. After all, even if the House votes to impeach the president, the Senate won’t convict him and he’ll be out of office and politics forever in January 2024. The nearly 300-page report nonetheless matters for many reasons, the most important of which is...

A congressman is vowing to help unravel the mystery behind Peru’s so-called “alien mummies.” Rep. Tim Burchett (R-Tenn.), one of the foremost voices in Congress on unidentified aerial phenomena (UAPs), declared that he would help get to the bottom of those puzzling Peruvian objects and recruit top talent to do so. “I will gladly help you … find someone that would analyze them,” Burchett told Mexican journalist Jaime Maussan on his show, “No Humano.” Last September, Maussan, who bills himself a “UFOlogist,” dragged a set of what he suggested were “non-human” remains to Mexico’s congress.

She had the incumbent advantage and was predicted to retain her seat based on recent polling. Now, Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) has won her primary in Minnesota's 5th Congressional District. Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) has won the primary for the Democratic nomination for her seat representing Minnesota’s 5th Congressional District, almost certainly giving her two more years in the House, Decision Desk HQ projects. Omar fended off a challenge from former Minneapolis City Council member Don Samuels, who nearly upset her two years ago in a primary. In 2022, she won by less than 2,500 votes in a race where...

A longtime Maryland Democrat and one of the longest-serving members in Congress survived a stroke over the weekend his team announced Tuesday. Rep. Steny Hoyer, 85, has represented Maryland in Congress since first being elected in 1981. 'On Sunday night, August 11, Rep. Steny Hoyer experienced a mild ischemic stroke and sought medical treatment,' Hoyer spokesperson Margaret Mulkerrin wrote in a statement. 'Mr. Hoyer’s wife and family extend their deepest thanks to his medical team,' the statement concluded.

Democrat Rep. Jamie Raskin earlier this year said Congress will stop Trump on January 6, 2025 and create “civil war conditions.” The February 2024 video of Raskin was making the rounds on Monday. Raskin said Congress will use the insurrection clause to stop Trump from taking office even if he wins the 2024 election. “What can be put into the Constitution can slip away from you very quickly and the greatest example going on right before our very eyes is section three of the 14th Amendment which they’re just disappearing with a magic wand as if it doesn’t exist even...

This week marks seven years since Sen. John McCain’s (R-Ariz.) historic vote to save ObamaCare. I will never forget a phone call I had with him just moments before he gave the big thumbs down on the Senate floor. He was reaching out about a statement I had issued opposing the Republicans’ effort to repeal ObamaCare. He thanked me for putting people over party and confidentially let me know he was going to do the same. Although we shared the same concern that our health care system desperately needs commonsense reforms to lower costs, McCain and I both knew that...

Sen. Chris Van Hollen (D-Md.) said it was a “mistake” for Democrats to support Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu giving an address to Congress. “I believe it was, and I’ve expressed that view,” he said when asked on CBS’s “Face the Nation” whether it was a mistake for Democrats to support the visit. “But the reality is, obviously, he came. So for those of us who thought it was a mistake to have him here, we expressed our views by not participating.”

A group of Republican members of U.S. Congress hoisted the American flags outside Union Station in Washington, D.C., on Wednesday night after anti-Israel protesters replaced them with Palestinian flags earlier in the day. "Earlier today, pro-Hamas protesters took down the American flags at Union Station, burned them and raised Palestinian flags. Tonight, we righted their wrong. American flags are once again flying over Union Station. We will not let the terrorist mob win," House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., tweeted, along with a video of the lawmakers saying the Pledge of Allegiance. Earlier today, pro-Hamas protesters took down the American flags...

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin “Bibi” Netanyahu delivered a one-hour address to a Joint Session of Congress this afternoon, drawing no fewer than 55 standing ovations, the most of any such speaker in Congressional history. It was the Israeli leader’s fourth address to Congress. ... more than any other foreign leader in history, more even than British Prime Minister Winston Churchill during World War II. His speech was brilliant, bipartisan, and electrifying. A true master class in global statesmanship.

America is next. Despite fanatical pro-Hamas protesters who set off fire alarms all night in his hotel, left maggots in the conference room set aside for the Israelis, and tried to block all the roads on the way to the Capitol, the forces of evil did not prevail: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke to Congress on Wednesday afternoon as planned and did his best to shore up a U.S./Israel alliance that the Biden-Harris administration, in desperate pursuit of votes from Michigan, has done so much to damage. The signs of that damage were unmistakable as Netanyahu entered the House...

The combined session of Congress greeted him rapturously. Also, Bibi subtly shivved the Biden/Harris administration in a devastating way for the election. Today, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke for almost an hour before a joint session of Congress. I was paying attention so hard to his magnificent speech that I forgot to take notes—and there’s no transcript available yet. These are my impressions of the speech. One. Bibi got one of the most rapturous greetings I’ve ever seen Congress give anyone. The ovation when Bibi walked to the podium and stood there went on so long that Speaker Mike Johnson...

U.S. — In an effort to make identifying the various types of criminals serving in Congress easier, congressional representatives will now hold up little signs to show what sort of criminal they are. "This will make things so much easier," said local man John Hastings. "What a great idea by Representative Tlaib!" According to sources, Representative Tlaib decided to begin holding up a sign to alert everyone that she openly supported the terrorist organization currently holding American citizens hostage. "We all have our various crimes. I'm more the kind when it involves armed violence against the citizens I'm supposed to...

A defiant Benjamin Netanyahu, in an address to a joint meeting of Congress on Wednesday, dismissed as “utter nonsense” criticisms by the United Nations, human rights groups and the International Criminal Court that Israel’s government has committed war crimes in Gaza, and he derided pro-Palestinian protesters as “idiots” and tools of Iran. The Israeli prime minister told U.S. lawmakers that Israel will settle for “nothing less” than total victory over Hamas, and described a vision for postwar Gaza seemingly at odds with the terms of a peace deal advocated by the Biden administration. The fate of Israel and the United...
