As back-to-school season nears, students and faculty are preparing to return to campus — and to protests. Pro-Palestinian protesters who wreaked havoc on Columbia University’s campus in the spring have already declared they “will be back.” The fall semester begins Sept. 3. So what is Columbia doing about it? The big picture is unclear. But their initial strategy seems pretty thin.
