The three-day festival at the University of Minnesota-Duluth was supposed to begin Friday. But it was postponed until next Friday because of the cold snap. The event includes snow-shoeing, homemade sledding, a snow sculpture contest, and a Polar Plunge. There's also cross-country ski and snowshoe race called the Yeti Challenge.
