This is the Lieutenant Governor of North Carolina, Mark Robinson. ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING. It is EXACTLY this level of virility and manfully stepping to the front that is completely lacking in the post-Christian west. This man CLEARLY is not afraid. The Holy Catholic Church could be brought out of eclipse and the Bergoglian Antipapacy ENDED within a matter of HOURS with ONE BISHOP who would move to the front and speak the truth like this.

Legendary Christian writer and thinker C.S. Lewis went from “vigorous debunker of Christianity” to one of history’s most transformative and apologetic faith voices. But most people today are much more acquainted with his hit books, like Mere Christianity and The Chronicles of Narnia, than the finer details of his compelling faith journey. Nearly 60 years after Lewis’ death, that spiritual evolution is getting a fresh look through the popular, new film, “The Most Reluctant Convert: The Untold Story of C.S. Lewis.” Actor Max McLean, who plays Lewis in the movie, recently told Faithwire about the author’s stunning transformation from “hard-boiled...

The Salvation Army wants its white donors to give it more than just money this Christmas season. Its leadership is also demanding they apologize for being racist. It's part of a push by the Christian charitable organization to embrace the ideas of Black Lives Matter, an activist group working to, among other things, "dismantle white privilege" and "disrupt the Western-prescribed nuclear family structure." The Salvation Army's Alexandria-based leadership has created an "International Social Justice Commission" which has developed and released a "resource" to educate its white donors, volunteers and employees called Let's Talk about Racism. It asserts Christianity is institutionally...

After nearly a decade of litigation, Christian florist Barronelle Stutzman has agreed to settle with the same-sex couple who sued her for refusing to serve their wedding. The couple, Rob Ingersoll and Curt Freed, were apparently unable to find any other florists for their same-sex wedding and will be paid $5,000 in exchange for no longer pursuing any damages against Stutzman’s business or personal assets. Stutzman, a 76-year-old grandmother, told Fox News that she’s retiring and leaving her business to its employees. “We’re all in trouble – whether we’re religious or not – when we don’t have the freedom to...

No matter how successful someone may seem from the outside, we all have our own internal struggles. During the earlier years of Anthony Hopkins’ career, he found himself in his own battle with alcoholism. RELATED: Christian Comic Chonda Pierce On Her Late Husband's Alcoholism Anthony’s addiction started “innocently.” He adopted a worldly mindset and drank because “that's what you do in theater, you drink." But as is the case too often, the social pastime soon took over his life. By 1975, Anthony’s drinking had spiraled out of control. "I was hell-bent on destruction," the award-winning actor recalled. "It was like...

Abortion activists are attacking pro-life efforts in every way possible, including by twisting Christian teachings to claim that it’s acceptable to kill a unique, living unborn baby who is created in the image of God. The Rev. Dr. Serene Jones, president of Union Theological Seminary in New York City, is one of them. In a column at Salon, she slammed the Texas heartbeat law as “un-Christian” and claimed it’s pro-lifers who are distorting the Bible for “their political goals.” “There is nothing godly about outlawing abortion — and Texas’ law is particularly un-Christian,” Jones began. “As a Christian biblical scholar,...

Martin Luther, to all faithful and godly pastors and preachers: grace, mercy, and peace be yours in Jesus Christ, our Lord. The deplorable, miserable conditions which I recently observed when visiting the parishes have constrained and pressed me to put this catechism of Christian doctrine into this brief, plain, and simple form. How pitiable, so help me God, were the things I saw: the common man, especially in the villages, knows practically nothing of Christian doctrine, and many of the pastors are almost entirely incompetent and unable to teach. Yet all the people are supposed to be Christians, have been...

I don’t spend too much time these days posting about the latest outrage coming from the Biden administration, other totalitarian leaders, or unhinged Leftists. The reason is simple: #1: It’s a waste of time to try to change those who are locked into their destructive ideology. #2: Many other conservative voices cover what the tyrants and the Left are doing to us, and some cover it well. It’s hugely important and I salute them. But I also know that the conservative movement has largely become an “outrage” movement, partly because outrage sells. But a large part of this is because...

If ever there was a time when our homes and families were under attack by the powers of Satan, it is in the day and time in which we live.Of course, I don’t believe in looking for a demon under every rock. And I don’t think that we should be unbalanced when we talk about spiritual warfare. But the truth is, as Apostle Paul said, “We wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers, and spiritual rulers of darkness” (Ephesians 6:12) in this world.Yet, many people, even those within the church, don’t acknowledge the existence of Satan...

Introduction I begin with the foundational axiom that Christ rose from the dead, and that He was who He claimed to be. Everything else follows. Christ is therefore Lord. He, the incarnate one, was sent into the world by the Father for us men and for our salvation. He was born of a woman, born under law, lived a perfect and sinless life, thus qualifying Him to be our sacrificial and pascal lamb. He suffered on the cross, as was appointed for Him, He was buried in a stone tomb, and three days later, in accordance with the prophetic and...

Catholic League president Bill Donohue comments on the origins of the “religious right”: Randall Balmer is a Dartmouth professor who maintains that the origins of the conservative evangelical-Catholic alliance, or what he prefers to call “the religious right,” are rooted in racism. A liberal evangelical himself, he has written about this story many times, and recounts it again in his new book, Bad Faith: Race and the Rise of the Religious Right. But is he right? Balmer is certainly right to say that abortion was not the real reason why conservative evangelicals and Catholics initially came together. When Roe v....

A Texas pastor believes she is doing God’s will by fighting in court to keep abortion on demand legal in her state. In an interview with Elle magazine, the Rev. Erika Forbes explained why she opposes the Texas heartbeat law and joined a lawsuit challenging it. The pro-life law (Senate Bill 8), which went into effect Sept. 1, prohibits abortions once an unborn baby’s heartbeat is detectable, about six weeks of pregnancy. Unique from other states, the Texas law includes a private enforcement mechanism that allows people to file lawsuits against abortionists who violate the law and those who help...

What several international observers have for years characterized as a “pure genocide” of Christians in Nigeria has reached new levels. Since the Islamic insurgency earnestly began in July 2009—first at the hands of Boko Haram, a professional Islamic terrorist organization, and later by the Fulani, Muslim herdsmen also radicalized and motivated by jihadist ideology—over 60,000 Christians have either been butchered or abducted during raids, never to return and believed to be dead by their loved ones. About 20,000 churches and Christian schools have also been torched and destroyed during the same timeframe. These are among some of the findings published...

A federal judge has granted the request of Christian colleges who want to intervene in a lawsuit that seeks to force the U.S. Department of Education to strip federal funding from Christian colleges that abide by traditional beliefs on gender and sexuality. In an opinion released last Friday, Judge Ann Aiken of the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon granted the motions to intervene in a case brought forward by dozens of current and former students at 25 Christian colleges who argue that religious exemptions to Title IX discrimination law are unconstitutional. Although the lawsuit was filed against...

When I heard that Spencer Klavan would be a speaker at the Classical Learning Test (CLT) 2021 Summit in Annapolis last week, I was surprised — shocked really — that a man who is openly homosexual would be featured there. The fact that well respected Catholic intellectuals would also be speaking at the Summit, and that others are members of CLT’s Board of Academic Advisors, was troubling to me, as troubling as the big incongruency in Spencer’s life. I worried that the presence of Princeton Prof. Robert George, University of Dallas Prof. Jessica Hooten Wilson, and other well-known Catholic educators...

I’m sure you’ve seen the videos, or even been at a sporting event where chants of “F— Biden!” break out. It’s something that makes me laugh, and gives me encouragement that more and more people are waking up to the fact that Joe Biden is the worst president we’ve ever seen. Believe me, I think it’s great that the average American is awakening to this horror show. Frankly, the devastation Joe and company are creating is so obvious, and the media blackouts of his failures so pervasive, that I’d almost be surprised if we weren’t hearing these chants breaking out...

OVER recent weeks the manner in which the Metropolitan Police prevented a Christian pastor going about his lawful duties has been in the hands of solicitors in a formal legal process seeking redress. It is therefore only now possible to make known the shocking police action on August 20 in Uxbridge, West London. On this date I was preaching the gospel in the open area near to the entrance to the Underground station. I began preaching at around 1.05pm on Bible texts including, ‘All have sinned and come short of the glory of God’ (Romans 3:23), and referring to the...

An Oxford college in England has apologized after the school hosted a conference sponsored by an evangelical conservative advocacy organization, which students claimed was "hateful and invalidating."
